Techniques for operating non-volatile memory systems with data sectors having different sizes than the sizes of the pages and/or blocks of the memory

A non-volatile memory system, such as a flash EEPROM system, is disclosed to be divided into a plurality of blocks and each of the blocks into one or more pages, with sectors of data being stored therein that are of a different size than either the pages or blocks. One specific technique packs more sectors into a block than pages provided for that block. Error correction codes and other attribute data for a number of user data sectors are preferably stored together in different pages and blocks than the user data.

Feature-vector-based rapid magnetic beacon orientation method and system

The invention, which relates to the technical field of positioning and orientation, provides a feature-vector-based rapid magnetic beacon orientation method and system. The method comprises: setting frequencies, amplitudes and phases of two paths of signals generated by a signal source and inputting the signals into a magnetic beacon generation space magnetic field; identifying a to-be-measured magnetic field signal; collecting magnetic field signals continuously and filtering the signals by using a bandpass filter to obtain magnetic field vector data of the two paths of signals; carrying outdenoising processing on the magnetic field vector data; carrying out multiplication crossing processing on the denoised magnetic field vector data to obtain feature vectors; carrying out spatial linear fitting on the feature vectors to obtain an optimal feature vector; and carrying out calculation based on the optimal feature vector to obtain a relative azimuth and a relative elevation angle of the relative magnetic beacon. According to the invention, the identification precision of the feature vector is improved by using the spatial linear fitting technique; and while the orientation accuracyis ensured, the real-time performance of the relative orientation calculation of the system is significantly improved.

Voltage, temperature, and process independent programmable phase shift for PLL

A circuit provides a programmable phase shift feature, where the phase shift is programmably selectable by a user. This circuitry may be incorporated in a programmable logic device (PLD) or field programmable gate array (FPGA) to provide additional programmability features. The programmable phase shift circuitry may be implemented within a phase locked loop (PLL) or delay locked loop (DLL) circuit. In an implementation, the programmable phase shift circuitry is implemented using two programmable counters.

Wireless receiving apparatus and method

A wireless receiving apparatus and method utilizes a single MCU (microprocessor control unit) in the wireless receiver to receive and process signals having different frequencies transmitted from a plurality of peripheral devices simultaneously, and then performs the steps of reading a predetermined processing procedure from a memory with respect to each of the signals respectively, performing a predetermined process with respect to each of the signals, storing an index of the last finished step for each signal in the memory respectively after at least a set of steps of the predetermined process has been performed, and continuing to perform the steps following the indices of the previous set of steps stored in the memory for carrying out a next set of steps for each signal, and repeating a plurality of sets of steps until all received signals have been processed.

An optical modulator having a voltage-optical output characteristic in which optical output varies periodically with respect to a voltage value of an electrical drive signal is driven by a modulator driving voltage signal, which has an amplitude of 2.Vpi between two light-emission culminations or two light extinction culminations of the voltage-optical output characteristic. A low-frequency superimposing unit superimposes a prescribed low-frequency signal on the modulator driving voltage signal, and an operating-point controller controls the operating point of the optical modulator by detecting operating-point drift of the optical modulator based upon the low-frequency signal component contained in an optical signal output from the optical modulator and controlling the bias voltage of the optical modulator in dependence upon the drift of the operating point of the optical modulator.

System and method for feedback-driven neuromodulation

Systems and methods are provided for neuromodulation with simultaneous stimulation and reception of neuronal response. A closed-loop control system provides the ability to modulate any combination of at least five parameters of stimulation (magnitude, frequency, amplitude, time, and phase) based on any combination of at least five parameters of received signals. The neuromodulation is well-suited for deep brain stimulation (DBS) applications.

Non-invasive fire hydrant water pressure detection method based on time-delay accumulation of multiple ultrasonic signals

The invention discloses a non-interventional fire hydrant water pressure detection method based on time-delay accumulation of multiple ultrasonic signals, comprising steps: S1. Using an ultrasonic transducer to generate multiple frequency-agile ultrasonic longitudinal wave sinusoidal excitation signals as input to detect ultrasonic signals; S2 . Acquire all reflected echo signals and transmitted echo signals corresponding to the input detection ultrasonic signal; S3. Accumulate the time delay interval of all acquired reflected echo signals and transmitted echo signals; S4. Accumulate all acquired reflected echoes The transmission distance difference between the signal and the transmitted echo signal; S5. Estimate the accumulated delay interval and transmission distance difference to obtain the ultrasonic wave velocity, and correct the obtained ultrasonic wave velocity; S6. Detect the water pressure of the fire hydrant according to the corrected ultrasonic wave velocity. The invention can realize the non-intervention, real-time, accurate, convenient, fast, efficient and cheap fire hydrant water pressure detection, and meets the practical application requirements of the fire hydrant water pressure detection.
