System for measuring and indicating changes in the resistance of a living body

A system for measuring changes in the resistance of a living body includes a resistance measuring circuit, an amplifier circuit and an indicator circuit in which the amplifier circuit includes a calibration circuit to give a generally constant amplitude response to a given measured input. Radio frequency insulators are included to reduce noise in the system. The circuits are operated such that when an overall change in the resistance of a living body occurs, the resistance measuring circuit is adjusted to determine the overall resistance. To account for changes in sensitivity caused by the overall change in resistance, the gain of the amplifier circuit is automatically adjusted to thereby maintain a generally constant amplitude response.

A sealed Hard Disk Drive filled with an inert gas mixture of air, helium, and / or nitrogen provides a wireless data encrypted interface to facilitate data and control transfer with a host system. The wireless interface additionally allows power transfer through Radio Frequency (RF) propagation or electromagnetic induction. Extended measures for vibration, shock, and temperature control are made possible through the use of the wireless interface. Immersion of the HDD into a viscous gel, or other damping material, provides vibration and shock control, while heating / cooling coils provide temperature control.

Directory read inhibitor for optical storage media

Systems and methods are described for inhibiting the readability of an optical media due to changes in a pseudo-reflective material that composes the optical media after the optical media has been exposed to air for a predetermined time. An optical media includes a data encoded component. At least a fraction of the data encoded component transforms from a substantially optically reflective state to a substantially optically non-reflective state as at-least-in-part a function of time from an initializing event. The systems and methods provide advantages because of low cost, limited content lifetime, avoidance of rental returns and minimum changes to existing manufacturing processes.

Sucking disk type hanging pole

The present invention discloses an improved sucking disk type hanging pole which comprises a protruded shaft on top and a rubber sucking disk on bottom, a stand with a connecting sleeve on top and a shell plate on bottom, a flexible hanging pole and a retaining base for coupling a retained object; wherein the disk body of the stand is smaller than the rubber sucking disk; a through hole is disposed at the center and interconnected to a bar-shaped sliding groove; a spring disposed in the through hole props a protruded cylindrical shaft of the sucking disk body is; a pivotal axle rod of the protruded cylindrical shaft passes through a sliding groove and pivotally connects with a latch member, and the board latch member at its periphery comprises a cam edge for contacting and supporting a shell plate of the stand, so that the cam edge pushes the shell plate to move back and forth by turning the latch member in order to drive the protruded pole together by the spring to loosen the rubber sucking disk and allow the groove slot to deform the shell plate more easily and facilitate the slightly curved surface to have the sucking or loosening effects. Further, with the flexibility of the hanging pole, the present invention allows user to quickly adjust the direction and height of the retaining base and facilitate carrying a heavy load on a smooth fixing object such as a ceramic tile or glass.
