The invention discloses a device and method for measuring the saturation adsorption capacity of a porous material. The device comprises a gas taking room, a
drying column, rotor flow meters, a
soap bubble flow meter, a mixer, a thermostatic water bath, vapor saturators, an adsorption column, a
vacuum pump, etc., wherein the gas taking room is connected with one end of the
drying column, and the other end of the
drying column is connected with the rotor flow meter V and the rotor flow meter W respectively; the rotor flow meter V is connected with the
soap bubble flow meter and the vapor saturator A through a three-way valve D; the rotor flow meter W is connected with the
soap bubble flow meter and the mixer through a three-way valve E; the vapor saturator A is connected with the vapor saturator B, the mixer, the adsorption column and the
vacuum pump in sequence. According to the device and method disclosed by the invention, through a normal-pressure flow method, an
inert gas carries adsorbate vapor to perform long-term saturation adsorption until the weight of the porous material stops increasing, and the saturation adsorption capacity of the porous material of
unit mass can be obtained by weighing. The method has the advantages of easiness in operation, small equipment investment, short average period of analysis and high test accuracy.
