The invention discloses a production system and process for preparing ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene by a batch method slurry process, wherein the system consists of a polymeric kettle, a catalyst hopper, an activating agent hopper, a condensing liquid separation tank, a condenser, a circulation fan, a flash evaporation kettle, an ethylene feeding flow rate control system, a propane feeding system, a reaction control system, a propylene feeding system and an activating agent metering feeding system. The process comprises a raw and auxiliary material feeding flow, a polymerization flow, a recovery processing flow and a product processing flow. The production system and the process have the advantages that the work procedures of filtering, drying, refining and the like required bya conventional ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene slurry process using conventional solvents such as hexane, solvent oil, butane and the like can be avoided; the production cost is reduced.
