The invention discloses an electronic cooling water pump of a variable-flow engine. The pump comprises a pump body, a shaft connected bearing, a
flange and an
impeller, wherein the shaft connected bearing is arranged on the pump body; the
flange and the
impeller are arranged at the two ends of the shaft connected bearing respectively; and the
flange is in transmission connection with a belt
pulley through a
clutch mechanism. The pump is characterized in that: a spring strip which facilitates separating a driven plate from the belt
pulley is arranged between the flange and the belt
pulley; the
clutch mechanism comprises a
clutch bearing, a magnetic body A which pulls in the driven plate and the belt pulley and a coil which can generate a
magnetic field repellent to the magnetic body A after being electrified; the magnetic body and the coil are arranged on a bracket; the
electrification signal input end of the coil is connected with the output end of an
electronic control unit which can acquire the temperature of engine cooling liquid; and a magnetic body B is pressed into the belt pulley. Engagement and disengagement between the driven plate and the belt pulley is realized by the coil in an electronic control way, so that a cooling
system is driven appropriately, quantitatively, accurately and reasonably. The pump has the advantages of low
energy consumption, quick response,
low noise, high accuracy and long service life.
