control system and the like. When an elevator answers a calling
signal to ascend or descend and the load in the elevator car is dynamically changed, the energy-saving device enables the elevator car to automatically hook or unload the auxiliary counterweight according to information of the difference between the weights measured by an elevator weight sensor at the elevator car side and the counterweight side, so that the balance of forces at two sides of a traction wheel is achieved; and the loading capacity at a
balance point is generally set as 50 percent of the rated loading capacity. With adoption of the energy-saving device, only when the load of the elevator car exceeds the
balance point, does the elevator need to be driven with
energy consumption; and when the load is below the
balance point, the elevator only needs to overcome friction of the steel wire
rope and consumes extremely low energy, and the energy-saving effect is remarkable.
