The invention discloses a method for measuring the oil consumption of a hybrid electric vehicle. The method comprises the steps as follows: the NEC (Net Energy Change) of a power battery pack of the hybrid electric vehicle is calculated during the running process; when the percentage of the NEC is less than 1 percent of the total energy consumption, the true value of the oil consumption quantity is a measured value of the oil consumption quantity; when the percentage of the NEC is more than 1 percent of the total energy consumption, the NEC of the battery pack is converted to equivalent mileage; if the NEC is more than zero, that is, the power battery pack outputs energy to the outside, the true mileage is the balance of measured mileage after deducting equivalent mileage, and the oil consumption quantity corresponding to the true mileage is the true value of the oil consumption quantity; and if the NEC is less than zero, that is, the power battery pack absorbs energy, the true mileage is the sum of the measured mileage and the equivalent mileage, and the oil consumption quantity corresponding to the true mileage is the true value of the oil consumption quantity. The method considers the energy conversion efficiency of batteries, the calculated value is more accurate, the provided equivalent mileage method for correcting the oil consumption of the hybrid electric vehicle can simplify the testing process, and the method is simple and effective.
