Apparatus for automatically removing a tail from poultry

The invention relates to an apparatus for automatically removing a tail from poultry. An overhead conveyor moves the poultry or part of a bird suspended by the legs, and a guiding device is disposed underneath the overhead conveyor for supporting and guiding the poultry. A cutting device is functionally disposed behind a lead element for the poultry and which is part of the guiding device. The overhead conveyor is designed to convey the poultry with the back facing forward while the guiding device supports and guides the poultry substantially at the side of the back. The cutting device is disposed in or under an effective supporting surface of the guiding device.

Transmitting circuit, communication equipment, audio equipment, video equipment, and transmitting method

The data from the orthogonal data generator is quantized by the vector data converter so as to become, for example, a binary value of 0 and a real number in magnitude. The output of the vector converter is modulated by the modulator, and is inputted to the amplifier. In the amplifier, the envelope of the signal to be inputted is quantized. That is, the signal of a constant envelope becomes a signal which is turned ON and OFF, so that a highly efficient nonlinear amplifier can be used. The quantization noise generated in the vector data converter is removed by the filter, and after that, the signal of a low distortion and a low noise is outputted from the output terminal. The isolation unit is connected between the amplifier and the filter, avoiding effects on the output impedance of the amplifier from the filter, so that a signal of a low distortion can be outputted.

Optical head device and objective lens

An optical head device that converges first and second laser beams having different wavelengths on recording surfaces of first and second optical recording media through a single light converging optical system including an objective lens for recording or reproducing data on the recording surfaces. A refracting surface of the objective lens is divided into two regions, i.e., a central refracting surface region with an optical axis thereof being as a center and an outer circumferential refracting surface region that surrounds an outer circumference of the central refracting surface region. A diffraction grating is formed generally entirely over the central refracting surface region. When recording or reproducing data on the first optical recording medium using the first laser beam, a beam spot is formed with a diffracted beam obtained by the central refracting surface region. When recording or reproducing data on the second optical recording medium using the second laser beam, a beam spot is formed with a beam portion that passes the outer circumferential refracting surface region and a diffracted beam obtained by the central refracting surface region.
