The invention discloses an
electronic equipment operation method based on a battery and
electronic equipment. The method comprises the following steps that in the condition under a temperature threshold, in the process that corresponding current is output to
system load by the battery in accordance with the current requirement of the
system load, the output
voltage of the battery is monitored until the temperature of the battery is equal to or higher than the temperature threshold; whether the output
voltage of the battery is lower than preset
voltage is judged; and when the output voltage of the battery is lower than the preset voltage, at least one electronic element is controlled, so as to reduce
power consumption and guarantee the output voltage of the battery to be higher than
cut-off output voltage. In the scheme, when the monitored output voltage is lowered to a certain degree, the
power consumption of the
system load is reduced, so as to reduce the current required by the system load, so that the current spike is prevented from being generated, thereby guaranteeing the output voltage of the battery to be kept higher than the
cut-off output voltage, and the problem of system poweroff caused by the current spike during operation of the
electronic equipment at low temperature is effectively solved.
