MBMS cell reselection to packet channel

A method and corresponding equipment by which a mobile station (wireless terminal) is able to undergo handover to another cell of a telecommunication system, and continue to receive a point-to-multicast transmission (e.g. MBMS packets) without a delay otherwise caused because of having to receive a channel (e.g. PBCCH in case of MBMS) conveying system information in the new cell and so causing the mobile station to first obtain the bearer information / location for the system information channel. The method is based on the mobile station using information in a neighboring cell information message (e.g. the MNCI message in case of an MBMS session) or other message (possibly specially defined) before changing to the new cell to determine the bearer information for the system information channel in the new cell (and also obtaining from the neighboring cell information the bearer information for receiving the point-to-multipoint transmission in the new cell).

Low Latency Multicast for Infiniband Host Channel Adapters

A low latency multicasting receive and send apparatus and method comprising low latency receive and send queues. In an InfiniBand® network each destination group of nodes (recipients) is identified by a unique Global ID (GID)+Local ID (LID). Each node whose ports are part of a multicast group identify themselves via a LID which identifies participating ports. When a switch receives such a multicast packet with a multicast LID in the packet's DLID field it replicates the packet to each of the designated ports. Each destination adapter at a receiving node receives the multicast packet and distributes copies of the packet to QPs in the host system that are registered for the multicast address.

Signal processing semiconductor integrated circuit device and wireless communication system

The invention provides a signal processing semiconductor integrated circuit of the direct conversion system, which includes a dummy amplifier having the same circuit configuration as a low noise amplifier being the first stage amplifier, in which the DC offset calibrations on the subsequent stage amplifiers are carried out during shifting into the reception mode in a state that the low noise amplifier is deactivated and the dummy amplifier is activated. Thereby, the invention achieves to suppress generation of the DC offsets resulting from the leakage noises of the local oscillator during shifting into the reception mode, and to enhance the reception sensitivity.

Radio-wave clock

To provide a radio-wave watch, which can have an excellent appearance and can minimize the drop of the sensitivity of receiving radio waves, while suppressing the size enlargement and the cost for the contour. A radio-wave watch comprises a metallic dial having an opening, and a receiving antenna for receiving the standard radio waves containing the time data. The receiving antenna is arranged on the back of the opening of the dial and in a case at a position to confront the opening. The receiving antenna is arranged in the case at a spacing from the dial. Time lapse indicating means substantially formed of a non-metal is arranged in the case between the dial and the receiving antenna for indicating the time lapse within the range of the opening.

Front-end module

A front-end module that uses a carrier aggregation scheme in which Band, which is selected from a low-frequency band group, and Band, which is selected from a high-frequency band group, are used simultaneously for communication includes a plurality of signal paths that connect a power amplifier module to an antenna element, and an antenna switch module that switches connection between the antenna element and the plurality of signal paths. Harmonics of Band have frequencies that are included in Band. The front-end module further includes a switch element disposed in a TDD transmission path.

In a position detecting system by use of GPS signals, a navigation information retrieving part retrieves reception strength information outputted from a navigation device when a current position of a mobile body is in a region in which a multipath is liable to occur. A reception sensitivity change part changes, based on the reception strength information retrieved by the navigation information retrieving part, a threshold level in a reception sensitivity filter part to a level higher than a normal level, which is a reception strength when a direct wave is received. Thereby, the reception sensitivity of the GPS signals is reduced.

System and method for routing a data packet in a wireless network, computing system in a system for routing a data packet in a wireless network, and method for routing a data packet in a computing system

An embodiment of the present invention provides a method and system for detecting the inability of the designated intermediate node (A1; A2) to forward, via itself, the data packet from the previous node to the designated intermediate node, to the node after the designated intermediate node according to the forwarding path; and a method and system for obtaining a set of cooperating nodes of the designated intermediate node (A1; A2), from among all the nodes of the network (N0, . . . , N15), to forward, via itself, the data packet from the previous node to the designated intermediate node to the node after the designated intermediate node according to the forwarding path, in case that the designated intermediate node is unable to do so.A system which allows using the resources of the nodes next to the nodes of the forwarding path for increasing their communication capacity and processing is achieved.
