The invention provides a multi-
electrode sensing structure and a method thereof. The multi-
electrode sensing structure comprises an FRP (
Fiber Reinforce Plastic) rib, anchoring cylinders, a conductiveadhesive and an insulating
adhesive, wherein two power supply electrodes are arranged on end faces of two ends of the FRP rib; FRP is divided into N sections and is disconnected and N-1 independent
voltage electrodes are arranged; the anchoring cylinders are mounted on the independent
voltage electrodes of sections; the anchoring cylinders are used for connecting the adjacent disconnected sections; the insulating
adhesive is injected into the anchoring cylinders; the power supply electrodes are connected with a current input
system; the independent
voltage electrodes of the sections are connected with a voltage output
system. When the FRP rib is subjected to an
axial force, the FRP rib has
axial deformation, the resistance of the FRP rib is changed and the output voltage is changed; the change value of the resistance is calculated through the change value of the current and the voltage, and is converted into section stress of the FRP rib; a
stress level of the FRP rib is judged. According to the multi-
electrode sensing structure provided by the invention, the FRP rib can express a self bearing force and a four-electrode circuit capable of eliminating
contact resistance is formed;meanwhile, the stress state of the FRP rib can be accurately monitored in real time. The
system is simple in structure, clear in principle and convenient to implement.
