Methods, systems, apparatus including computer programming encoded on a computer storage medium for efficiently storing data across memory hierarchy on one or plurality of nodes include creating ordered partitions of data based on key where partition order is achieved using highly space optimized prefix tree index. Within a partition, data is fully or partially ordered based on key. Multiple prefix tree indices are created one for each memory hierarchy and all are stored in fast memory like DRAM. In yet another embodiment, the description file includes a section which is capable of linking to logic functions of the intelligent electronic device for performing programmable data binding or dynamic data binding. A configuration tool is further provided for editing and creating such description files. A method for selectively receiving messages from an intelligent electronic device configured in accordance with the IEC-61850 standard is also described herein, along with a method for optimizing file space and improving execution speed of an intelligent electronic device configured in accordance with the IEC-61850 standard.

A set of rating parameters are defined in order to provide a unified and standardized rating system. The rating system represents the effectiveness of the product category in a store area. The metrics are defined in a manner that is normalized so that they can be used across different types of product categories. The datasets are measured per category or group of categories over time to identify how the strength has varied over time, and to monitor trends in the category performance. The measured datasets are further analyzed based on various demographic groups and behavior segments. The analysis facilitates a better understanding of the strength of the category for different shopper segments, which in turn can be applied for developing better store area optimization strategies.

The expandable member is delivered to a target region in a deflated state where it is expanded by inflation of the member. Wireless communication systems and methods are provided that a) enable progressive beamforming with antenna arrays and subarrays, b) provide current and delayed versions of data-carrying signals, and c) provide time-of-arrival of data-carrying signals. The progressive beamforming substantially reduces computational complexity. The current and delayed versions of data-carrying signals facilitate optimization of spatial information and optimization of information from non-coherent delays (which are delays beyond the handling capability of a system's modulation). The time-of-arrival information is used to facilitate a single matrix inversion which substantially reduces the complexity of conventional beamforming computations.
