Power is supplied to an information handling system chipset with a single voltage regulator having dual phases. A first phase of the voltage regulator provides power to a low power state power rail in an independent mode to support a low power state, such as a suspend or hibernate state. A second phase of the voltage regulator provides power to a run power state power rail in combination with the first phase by activation of a switch, such as a MOSFET load switch, that connects the low power state power rail and the run power state power rail. Voltage sensed from both power rails is applied to control voltage output so that the run power state power rail is maintained within more precise constraints than the low power state power rail.

An integrated, fully automated video production system provides a video director with total control over all of the video production devices used to produce and broadcast a show. The splitting step includes the steps of providing first and second circular saw blades mounted on spaced-apart vertical axes for rotation in a single plane intermediate and parallel to the planes of the top and bottom surfaces of the blank and positioning the blank on conveying means upstream from the saw blades with the plane of rotation of the saw blades intermediate and parallel to the planes of the top and bottom surfaces of the blank for movement of the blank from an upstream position to a downstream position relative to the saw blades. The blank is moved downstream into the plane of rotation of the saw blades during rotation of the saw blades thereby horizontally splitting the blank to form first and second low-profile flooring strips. Interlocking members, such as molded, mating tongue and groove members, are molded into first and second longitudinally-extending side edges of the flooring strips for securing together the flooring strips when placed side-to-side to form a floor.

The prioritizing step may include color-coding at least one of the symbol and the image using the navigational device. Further, the navigational device may include a pressure detecting mechanism which determines at least one of a priority of the image and a speed of images displayed on the touch screen, based on an amount of pressure exerted by a user on the touch screen. The navigational device includes security features to ensure authorized use, including biometric authentication of identification.

A system of Flash EEprom memory chips with controlling circuits serves as non-volatile memory such as that provided by magnetic disk drives. Improvements include selective multiple sector erase, in which any combinations of Flash sectors may be erased together. Selective sectors among the selected combination may also be de-selected during the erase operation. Another improvement is the ability to remap and replace defective cells with substitute cells. The remapping is performed automatically as soon as a defective cell is detected. When the number of defects in a Flash sector becomes large, the whole sector is remapped. Yet another improvement is the use of a write cache to reduce the number of writes to the Flash EEprom memory, thereby minimizing the stress to the device from undergoing too many write / erase cycling.

One end of a foot support member has a pedal which follows elliptical motion while the other end is guided by a non-aligned drive link to drive an alternator and flywheel. The resulting pedal motion is foot friendly. Handles are coordinated with the foot support members for arm exercise. Adjustment is provided for the elliptical path.

Exhaust gas purifying apparatus and method of regenerating the same

An exhaust gas purifying apparatus is provided which includes a honeycomb structure used as a filter to capture particulates in exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine such as diesel engine and as a carrier of a catalyst to convert the exhaust gas. The particulates captured by the honeycomb structure are removed by combustion at a temperature of 250 to 800° C., thereby, even if a relatively low temperature is distributed or a heat cycle has been repeated from a long term, thermal stress is prevented from being stored, cracking is prevented and thermal shock resistance is thus improved.
