The invention discloses a channel
estimation method and
system based on positioning information assistance in an RIS
system in an Internet of Vehicles environment. The method comprises the following steps: 1, obtaining relative positions of a
base station, an RIS and a vehicle receiving end according to
the Internet of Vehicles; 2, according to the relative positions, acquiring the
azimuth angles and elevation angles of effective signals from the
base station to the RIS and from the RIS to the receiving end in the propagation process; 3, according to
azimuth angles and elevation angles of received signals and reflected signals of the RIS, constructing a
cascade channel G from the
base station to the RIS and
cascade channels hr, k from the RIS to a receiving end; 4, considering downlink
pilot frequency transmission, constructing a channel model, receiving
signal conversion by a single-user receiving end, and constructing a
cascade channel; 5, calculating an optimal
reflection coefficient of each unit of the RIS by using position information based on a criterion of maximum receiving
signal power of the receiving end, and constructing a
reflection coefficient matrix [Theta]; and step 6, according to the obtained
reflection coefficient matrix [Theta] and the single-user receiving
signal yk, obtaining an
estimation channel Hc through an LS
algorithm.
