A wind energy installation can include a generator which is driven by a rotor and generates electrical power in a multiphase manner for feeding into a network, a converter which is connected to the generator and to the network, and a control system which interacts with the converter and includes a negative sequence system regulation mechanism. The negative sequence system regulation mechanism can include a phase control module configured to determine an electrical variable of the negative sequence system according to the phase. Accordingly, an available current can be provided according to the operating situation for active power or idle power in the negative sequence system regulation mechanism. The negative sequence system regulation mechanism can thus help stabilize the network in the event of asymmetrical network conditions. Also, this relates to a correspondingly equipped wind park and an operating method.

Wind turbine plant high wind derating control

A method for operating a wind turbine plant including providing a plurality of wind turbines each having a turbine rotor including at least one blade mounted to a rotatable turbine shaft and an induction generator having a stator and a rotor coupled to the turbine shaft for rotation therewith. The wind turbine is configurable to provide a variable amount of power. A control is provided capable of communicating with the plurality of wind turbines. A wind speed is measured and a power derating factor is determined in response to the measured wind speed. The determined derating factor is communicated to the plurality of wind turbines. The amount of power generated by each of the plurality of wind turbines is adjusted in response to the power derating factor. A system for operating a wind turbine plant is also disclosed.

High reliability motor system

A brushless electric motor system comprises a rotor and a stator comprising poles. Electrical phase windings have coils (U1-6, V1-6, W1-6) wound around the poles. Power switches (T1-24) controlled by a control device supply electric current the windings from positive and negative rails connected to power supply. For each phase at least one group of four power switches arranged in a H-bridge configuration is provided. The coils of each phase winding are preferably divided into winding group (U1-3, Ua-6, V1-3, V4-6, W1-3, W4-6) and the electric conductor of each winding group is then electrically conductor of the other winding groups. Then four power switches arranged in an H-configuration is provided for each winding group. The use of power switches in H-bridge configurations allows the faulty windings or winding groups to be disabled and that the rest of the windings or coils can be used for driving the rotor, this giving the motor system a high reliability. The current supplied to other windings or winding groups can then be increased to compensate for the faulty group. The coil groups can be separated from other coil groups by unwound stator poles. Current sensors (303) can sense the current in each winding group and be used to detect whether the currents are too high. The sensed currents can be used to identify fault conditions in the system so that then suitable switches can be disabled, disconnecting a faulty winding group.

The invention relates to cylinder-deactivation control method and device of an electronic-control fuel-injection multi-cylinder internal-combustion engine. The cylinder-deactivation control method of the electronic-control fuel-injection multi-cylinder internal-combustion engine comprises the following steps of: (1) collecting a position sensor signal of a throttle of a throttle device by an ECU (Electronic-Control Unit) and calculating the size and the change rate of the position sensor signal; (2) collecting the temperature of an engine or the temperature of engine cooling liquid by the ECU; (3) measuring the rotating speed of the engine by the ECU; (4) calculating the lasting time of the latest working mode by the ECU; and (5) logically calculating a working mode of the next clock by the ECU according to the information and the preset working mode judging conditions, wherein the working modes of the next clock comprise (a) a full-cylinder working mode, (2) a partial cylinder-deactivation working mode and (3) a full oil-break mode. On the size and change rate plane of the position sensor signal, the operation state of the engine is divided into three areas by two boundary lines, i.e. a full-cylinder working area, a partial cylinder-deactivation working area and a hysteresis area. The invention can save fuel consumption of the engine under a normal working condition due to partial cylinder-deactivation work and can enhance the dynamic feeling of a vehicle while being forcefully and rapidly throttled.

Combinatorial light string plug and receptacle

A connector having enhanced protection against arcing during live or “hot” connection of a plug assembly to a receptacle assembly. The terminals of the connector, including the connection point of exposed wiring, are electrically isolated from each other with dielectric barriers built in to the connector, such as polymer partitions. Accordingly, protection against arcing is provided in a connector that is assembled fast and inexpensively, without need for a time consuming installation of wire and terminal coatings or sleeves (e.g., “shrink tube”), and with greater reliability. The connector can be used in a modular system for decorative lighting and having a controller module that is not hard wired to a light string. Use of the controller module independent of any of the light strings enables the controller to be used with any light string or with a replacement light string, in the event that the immediately connected light string fails.

Through such a design, under the condition of not unlocking a mobile phone, the electric quantity of a battery can be accurately known by watching the color of the breathing lamp; and in addition, the problem in the prior art that the breathing lamp shows that a battery is fully charged while the battery is not fully charged does not occur.

According to the invention, the structure of the carrier suppression single-sideband modulator is optimized, the sizeis reduced, and the precision is improved; through the integration of the main body optical path, the volume of the receiver is reduced, and the practicability and reliability of the channelized receiver are improved.
