Enterprise client-server system and methods of providing web application support through distributed emulation of websocket communications

A system enabling service communications in distributed Web applications between servers otherwise inaccessible due to cross-origin security restrictions in pre-HTML5 compliant Web-browser clients. A Web-browser client executes a client-side Web application received from a source origin server having a defined source origin and requests connections to request identified Web-application services. Execution of an emulation client library establishes a bidirectional capable HTTP-based communications connection between the Web-browser client and a gateway server, having a target origin outside the scope of the source origin, providing access to the request identified Web-application service. The bidirectional capable HTTP-based communications connection includes a cross-origin communications bridge providing a secure communications path between the source and target origins. The gateway server can establish an HTML5 compliant connection to a target defined service, provided by a target server, having a predefined relation to the request identified Web-application service.

Method of utilizing an external defibrillator by replacing its electrodes

A method of treating a patient for ventricular tachycardia using a wearable defibrillator includes monitoring the patient for a predetermined condition via one or more electrodes on the defibrillator, sending a message to the patient in response to the predetermined condition, activating the defibrillator so that the defibrillator delivers defibrillation energy to the patient, and storing at least one of the results of the monitoring, sending and activating steps in a memory on the defibrillator. The method also includes downloading information stored in the memory of the defibrillator to a base station having an external interface, and transmitting the information downloaded from the memory of the base station to an external location via the external interface of the base station.

Crab breeding method

The invention provides a crab breeding method. The crab breeding method comprises the following steps of selecting a pond and laying escape-preventing tempered glass around the pond; adopting a quick lime drying method to clear the pond, wherein the quick lime using amount is 150 kilograms / mu, and water is added into the pond till the depth reaches 0.2 m-0.8 m after the pond is cleared for 8 days; applying a base fertilizer to improve water quality; putting juvenile crabs into the pond at March and throwing bait particles into the pond in the morning and evening every day, wherein the bait amount each time is 6-8% of crab weight; putting 180000-20000 juvenile crabs per mu, wherein every 60 to 80 crabs weigh 1 / 2 kilogram; patrolling the pond and clearing frogs, snakes and rats entered the pond every day, and adding fresh water per week, wherein the water depth of the pond is increased to be 1.1 m-1.3 m in summer; catching the crabs. By means of the crab breeding method, crab yield is high.

Systems and methods for selectively updating cardiac morphology discrimination templates for use with implantable medical devices

Techniques are provided for updating a morphology template used to discriminate abnormal cardiac rhythms. In one example, a non-weighted candidate morphology template is generated based on far-field R-wave morphology. A weighted candidate morphology template is generated based on an ensemble average of the non-weighted candidate morphology template and a previous (i.e. active) morphology template. The previous morphology template is then selectively updated based on a comparison of additional R-waves against both the non-weighted and the weighted candidate templates. Thereafter, abnormal cardiac rhythms such as ventricular tachycardia and supraventricular tachycardia are discriminated using the updated morphology template based on newly-detected far-field R-waves. These techniques provide a method for updating the morphology discrimination template in response to long-term changes in morphology due to cardiac remodeling or cardiac disease progression.
