47 results about "Smear layer" patented technology

The smear layer is a layer of microcrystalline and organic particle debris that is found spread on root canal walls after root canal instrumentation. It was first described in 1975 and much research has been performed since then to evaluate its importance in assisting or preventing the penetration of bacteria into the dentinal tubules. More broadly, it is the organic layer found over all hard tooth surfaces.

Method for cleaning a root canal system

An endodontic activator is provided to facilitate the removal of pulp tissue, the smear layer, and, when present, bacteria and their related irritants from a root canal system during an endodontic procedure. The activator enhances disinfection and deep lateral cleaning of a root canal system. The activator is a sonically driven activator which is made from a strong, flexible, non-metallic, and non-cutting material. The activator can be smooth, flocked or brush-like. The activator comprises a snap-on coupler which is adapted to attach the tool to a driver via a snap on action and without the use of tools. The activator can be provided with fluid passages which allow for irrigating reagents to be delivered into or vacuumed from the root canal space during endodontic procedures. By inducing sonic vibrations in the activator, hydrodynamic phenomenon are induced in the solution in the root canal to enhance deep lateral cleaning of the root canal system of the tooth.

Laminated perovskite structure heat-barrier coating ceramic layer material

The invention disclosed a kind of lamellar heat-proof smear layer and ceramic layer material which has the structure of calcium and titanium mine. The chemical formula of the material is BaLn2Ti3O10 in which Ln stands for one kind, two kinds or three kinds of La,Sm and Nd and 0<=x<=0.12,0<=y<=0.12. Because of the adulteration of rare earth ion and the lamellar structure of the calcium and titanium mine, the material has lower heat conductivity and higher coefficient of thermal expansion compared to the zirconium oxide which is stabilized by 7-8% yttrium oxide. After annealing the material at 1500DEG C for 168h the material can still maintain stable. The material can be designed to be heat-proof smear layer materials. The using temperature interval is ambient temperature to 1500DEG C, and the heat conductivity (1200DEG C) interval is 0.47-0.70 Wm-1K-1, the coefficient of thermal expansion (1200DEG C) interval is 11.5-14.0 10-6K-1.

Protective coating for reducing graphite electrode consumption and its production method

The invention disclosed a kind of protectant paint which is used to reduce the consumption of the graphite electrode. The ingredient of the paint includes B2O3:5-8%, MoSi2:8-15%, TiO2: 5-10%, Cr2O3:3-10%, Al2O3:3-10% and sulfonate silicon resin:40-65%. The preparing method includes the following steps: pre-melting and sintering the powder granule; pulverizing and sieving the material, the powder with -180-+300 screen mesh is group A filling while the powder with -300 screen mesh is group B filling; mixing the two groups of fillings at a ratio of 7:3 to get the solid filling; because of the add of the trace moly silicon which has similar coefficient of expansion due to heat to the graphite, the smear layer can keep similar coefficient of expansion due to heat to graphite in different temperature intervals while raising the temperature; the invention can control the grain size of the paint components to form the steady and successive smear layer with gradient structure and prevent the stripping or flaking of the smear layer so as to increase the intensity of the smear layer and realize effective protection .

Method, device and apparatus for evaluating sealability of geological faults

An embodiment of the present invention provides a method, device and apparatus for evaluating sealability of geological faults. By simulating the formation process of faults in the target geological layer, For each state formed by geological simulation layer in the simulation process, the fault distance of fault in geological simulation layer and the thickness of mudstone smeared simulation layerin fault are obtained, and the functional relationship between the fault distance of fault in geological simulation layer and the thickness of mudstone smeared simulation layer in fault is further obtained. According to the fault distance and function relation of the target geological layer, the thickness of mudstone smeared layer in the target geological layer is obtained, and the sealing property of the target geological layer is evaluated according to the thickness of mudstone smeared layer. The evaluation method, device and device fit the parameters corresponding to a plurality of states in the formation process of the fault in the geological simulation layer to the functional relationship, avoid the defect of randomness, improve the accuracy of the prediction of the thickness of the mudstone smeared layer in the fault, and improve the accuracy of the evaluation of the sealing property of the fault.
