The levels of arachidonic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid in milk of a wet nurse carrying FADS1 gene rs174556T / T minor allele homozygote are obviously degraded, and the locus has mononucleotide polymorphism determining the level of milk polyunsaturated fatty acid.
