In various embodiments of the invention, a unique construction for Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) with at least one luminescent rod and extracting optical elements is used to generate a variety of high brightness light sources with different emission spectra. In an embodiment of the invention, forced air cooling is used to cool the luminescent rod. In an embodiment of the invention, totally internal reflected light can be redirected outward and refocused. In another embodiment of the invention, light emitted by the luminescent rod is out-coupled for use in a variety of applications. In various embodiments of the invention, a plurality of independent narrow band colors can be coaxially combined.

A computer system includes an enclosure, a forced air cooling system configured to create air flow within the enclosure, a printed circuit board and an air flow blockage member. The printed circuit board is within the enclosure and includes a plurality of connectors including a first connector and a second connector separated by a first space. The air flow blockage member is proximate the first space and is movable between at least a first open position and a second open position distinct from the first open position.

Check valve, fan unit, and forced air cooling system

A backflow preventing check valve for use in a fan unit in a forced air cooling system includes a generally rectangular frame, a plurality of adjacent parallel pivot axes mounted in the frame, and a plurality of adjacent vanes that pivot around the axes between open and closed positions. The axes extend generally transverse to the direction of fluid flow through the valve, and each axis is offset from the center of gravity of its associated vane so that fluid flowing through the valve in an allowed direction moves the vanes toward the open position, and fluid flowing in a blocked direction moves the vanes toward the closed position. The axes are inclined at an angle (α) measured from a vertical reference, thereby causing the vanes to be urged by gravity to pivot towards the closed position.

High-speed vacuum sealing utilizes a magnetic drive vacuum dynamic sealing connection method, and non-contact transmission of motive power is achieved through magnetic transmission between an inner magnet rotor and an outer magnet rotor. The successful development of the ultra centrifuge changes the passive situation that out country completely relies on import in an ultra centrifuge market, and the ultra centrifuge has wide market prospects and great social benefits.

Light therapy device heat management

This device incorporates an array of light emitting diodes (LED) of several specific wavelengths that are used to provide therapy to visible and invisible living tissue or skin disorders that react to various wavelengths of light. Furthermore the device uses a combination of high level of perforation metal core circuit boards, heat transfer pads, heat sinks and forced air cooling and electronic thermal management to achieve continuous high intensity light output to therapy areas along with long LED life. Forced air cooling battery box, and box body and cooling plates thereof

The invention discloses a forced air cooling battery box, and a box body and cooling plates thereof. The cooling plates are arranged in air ducts of the box body; each cooling plate comprises two thermal conductive boards which are adhered to opposite side surfaces of two adjacent battery cells, and a thermal conductive core portion disposed between the two thermal conductive boards; the thermal conductive core portion is provided with cold air channels penetrating through two opposite end surfaces; the thermal conductive boards are side sealing surfaces used for preventing cold air in the cold air channels from being leaked out of the boards, so that the cold air in the cold air channels can achieve a predetermined effect of forced air cooling on the battery cells; the cold air in the cold air channels can be prevented from being leaked out of the cold boards under a blocking effect of the thermal conductive boards; the cold air can not scour the side surfaces of the battery cells; and impurities in the cold air do not erode the sides surface of the battery cells. Therefore, the cooling plates provided by the invention can increase a cooling effect of the cold air on the battery cells and uniformity of the temperature of the battery cells and reduce scouring of the surfaces of the battery cells by the cold air sucked in the battery box, so as to reduce erosion of the battery cells by the impurities in the cold air.
