The preparation of etofenprox as pesticide uses p-tert-butyl phenol as initial material and includes four reaction steps of acetylating, chlorination, oxyethylation, etc. in the presence of catalyst. The invention discloses an etofenprox containing insecticide compound, which includes three constituents of effective active ingredient, assistant, and a carrier. The effective active ingredient includes one of the etofenprox, the thiodicarb, and the diafenthiuron, and the weight percentage is 1-99 percent, the mixing ratio in weight of the etofenprox to the thiodicarb when being mixed is between 1:80 and 30:1, and the mixing ratio in weight of the etofenprox to the diafenthiuron when being mixed is between 1:75 and 30:1. When the invention is in use, the pollution is less, the production cost is low, the preventing effect is excellent, and the duration is long. After the etofenprox, the thiodicarb, and the diafenthiuron are compounded, the common toxicity coefficient is more than 100 obviously, the synergistic effect is obvious, and the safety is high.
