Methods are disclosed to support power saving states of a beacon station in an ad hoc wireless local area network (WLAN). Some of the methods allow exchanging power management information among stations in the wireless network and to allow beacon station handovers. In some methods, always-on stations are given a higher priority to become a beacon station or a beacon station handover destination. The methods achieve good power saving while minimizing beacon handover frequency.

A system and method is provided for enabling an electronic device to efficiently access information content. A server browser accesses the information content over a network. The accessed information content is retrieved and adapted for presentation for the electronic device. A serializer dynamically formats the adapted information content according to a client browser. The client browser receives and presents the information content on the electronic device. An event translator is included to provide additional compatibility with commercially available client browsers. The information content is formatted to selectively minimize the horizontal scrolling required to view the content. The need for horizontal scrolling is selectively removed where not necessary to preserve the context. Each component or sub-component of the original area, such as a frame, table row, table cell or nested table, is considered separately and may be preserved, resized, or replaced. Where the context requires that the content be wider than the viewable area of the screen, horizontal scrolling is preserved.

In the vertical blanking period, an end pulse signal (ED) changes from the low level to the high level. A loading device for a shaft furnace comprises a chute supported by a suspension rotor (28) in a fixed housing. A method of adding a proper quantity of inorganic materials such as ground steel slag and ground slag and relevant additives is adopted, so that the water consumption of the modified gypsum is lowered, the density of a material is increased, and the water resistance and the mechanical property of the material are improved while high bonding performance of the gypsum-based material is kept. Scarce alpha gypsum or natural anhydrite is not adopted, raw materials are stable and reliable in supply, and more superior cost performance is achieved; wastes such as gypsum of power plants, ardealite, ground steel slag and ground slag are made full use for making a cementing material, so that general recycling of waste resources is realized, environmental pollution is lowered, and meanwhile a tremendous economic benefit is achieved.
