Brushless motor drive device

A Hall sensing circuit generates a positional detection signal representative of a positional relationship between a rotor and a phase coil of a motor. A signal synthesizing circuit transforms the positional detection signal to a driving signal. Based on a comparison of the driving signal and a high-frequency reference signal, a pulse signal is generated for controlling a switching circuit to dive the motor. A current error signal is supplied through feedback to adjust a relative relationship between an amplitude of the drive signal and an amplitude of the high-frequency reference signal, thereby changing a duty ratio of the pulse signal. A duty-ratio limiting circuit is provided to limit the duty ratio of the pulse signal for ensuring a reliable rotation of the motor.

Each of the second electrodes has a plurality of branch electrodes extending in a direction intersecting a corresponding one of the data lines and a connecting portion electrically connecting the branch electrodes with one another such that at least one of first and second ends of the adjacent branch electrodes is open. The second electrodes are arranged such that each of the second electrodes partially overlaps a corresponding one of the first electrodes in a corresponding one of the pixel regions when viewed in plan.

Accordingly, even when the coupling hole (20) in the projected portion (19) undergoes thermal expansion and the diameter of the coupling hole (20) increases, a connection between the drive shaft (15) and the coupling hole (20) can be prevented from being loosened since the radial increase thereof is suppressed by the cylindrical portion (33). Thus, the state of the connection thereof can be well maintained.

A webbing retractor which, by causing relative rotation between a prime mover rotating body and a rotating disc, connects the prime mover rotating body and a driven shaft which is connected to a take-up shaft of a webbing belt. A planet gear is pivotally supported at a plate having a braking piece and meshes with a sun gear. The plate is supported so as to be swingable around the sun gear. When the sun gear is driven to rotate at greater than a predetermined speed, the planet gear begins to circle around the sun gear against urging force of a spring attached to the plate, and makes the plate rotate such that the braking piece slidingly contacts the friction ring.
