The sensor comprises a sensitive element, a sensitive layer and a heating layer, wherein the sensitive element is sensitive to gases and is capable of simultaneously generating corresponding electric conductivity signals andlight emission signals at different temperatures; the sensitive element at least comprises a substrate; the sensitive layer is deposited on the substrate; the sensitive layer comprises a nano sensitive material; the nano sensitive material is sensitive to gases and is capable of simultaneously generating electric conductivity signals and light emission signals; and the heating layer is used for changing temperatures of the substrates and the sensitive layer. The detection device comprises the sensor and a signal detection module for detecting the electric conductivity signals and the light emission signals. By adopting the sensor, the detection selectivity for volatile organic compounds is improved, judgment errors and judgment omission rates can be greatly reduced, the sensitivity of thesensor is improved, and the response speed of the sensor is also increased.
