The invention discloses an
image processing device and method based on a reconfigurable memory computing technology, and the device employs a novel ReRAM device and a PIM technology, integrates the
data processing and storage in the same device, and introduces a reconfigurable operation technology. The method comprises the steps that a memory is designed to calculate a PIM
instruction set, a PIM program is compiled, a high-level comprehensive HLS tool is utilized to compile a
program code, the
program code is placed at a corresponding position, and two different
image processing tasks are processed in two
modes. The problem of a storage wall is effectively solved, so that the on-
chip bus bandwidth of the device is large, the transmission speed is high, the
power consumption is low, and theintegration level is high. According to the method, on the premise that the
image resolution is not reduced, the parallelism degree of
image processing and the flexibility of the
system can be improved, and then the purpose of rapid image
processing is achieved.
