The method is based on the principle of 'proper components and classification conversion' of fuel; coal gasification is accomplished through three steps including carbonization, production of carbon monoxide, and transformation to produce hydrogen; firstly, coal is carbonized to be purified so as to obtain crude coke, then the crude coke reacts with carbon dioxide to produce carbon monoxide, and finally, hydrogen and carbon dioxide are produced through transformation reaction, and carbon dioxide is supplied to a coke carbon monoxide unit; composite coal gas with different carbon-hydrogen ratios can be obtained by mixing hydrogen, carbon monoxide and coke oven gas; and heat required during the carbonization process of coal and the generating process of carbon monoxide is supplied by coal burning. According to the invention, the gasification process of coal is accomplished through three steps including coking, gasification and transformation to produce hydrogen, so that the irreversibility of the whole gasification reaction can be lowered, and the gasification efficiency of coal is improved remarkably; a space division device and a waste heat boiler are removed, so that the equipment investment is reduced; and fuels include gasification coal and heat supply coal, so that the adaptability of coal can be improved greatly.
