Light-emitting diode (LED) epitaxial structure and manufacturing method thereof

The invention discloses a light-emitting diode (LED) epitaxial structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The LED epitaxial structure successively comprises an epitaxial substrate, a leukotriene (LT)-GaN nucleating layer, a high-temperature non-doped buffer layer, a P-GaN layer, a P-AlGaN layer, a diffusion barrier layer, a multiple quantum well (MQW) luminous layer, an InGaN current expansion layer, an N-ZnO layer and a surface-coarsened ZnO layer. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: pre-treating the epitaxial substrate; growing the nucleating layer; growing the buffer layer; growing the P-GaN layer; growing the P-AlGaN layer; growing the diffusion barrier layer; growing the MQW luminous layer; growing the InGaN current expansion layer; growing the N-ZnO layer; and growing the surface-coarsened ZnO layer. By using the LED epitaxial structure obtained by virtue of the manufacturing method provided by the invention, an excellent electrical property and a good optical property are obtained, the internal quantum efficiency and the electronic static discharge (ESD) resistance capability are improved, the lost light caused by total reflection is lowered, the external quantum efficiency is greatly improved, a high-brightness LED is obtained, and the purposes of development and sustainable development of the LED industry are greatly promoted.

An air filter system with an air filter element having an inflow and an outflow face and comprising alternating flat and pleated layers, which are configured to form channels. The channels are alternately sealed in inflow and outflow direction, such that the medium to be filtered must pass through one of the layers as it flows from the inflow face through the filter to the outflow face. An adsorber element made of an activated carbon coated honeycomb structure is disposed adjacent the air filter element.

Method for displacement of water from a porous and permeable formation

A method and system for displacing water from a porous geological formation are provided. The zone to be displaced is defined by the injection of water into one or more barrier wells around the zone. One or more gas injection wells and water production wells are located within the zone. During pressurized gas injection within the zone, the barrier wells are operated to achieve a hydraulic pressure barrier surrounding the zone that is sufficient to prevent penetration therethrough by the injected gas. The well system is operated to concurrently limit gas entry into the water production well. Accordingly, the gas displaces water downward within the zone such that water is produced at the water production wells.

Cable grommet for use with a raised floor

Cable grommets for use with raised-floor tiles permit the passage of cables while simultaneously limiting the amount of cool air escaping from under-floor ducts and plenums. The cable grommet includes a floor tile mounting flange, one or more pairs of opposed, overlapping finger assemblies, and one or more pairs of opposed finger mounting flanges for coupling the finger assemblies to the underside of the floor tile mounting flange. The edges of the of the triangularly-shaped fingers are configured to flex around the cables while the interior core section remains generally rigid and parallel to the plane of the floor to restrict the loss of cooling air. Alternatively, the cable grommet includes a floor tile mounting flange and a finger panel defining a sinusoidal cut along its length and a plurality of intersecting short cuts.

The injection system includes an injector nozzle guide, the inner surface of which delimits an opening for centering the nozzle, which includes an outer casing. The arrangement further includes a sealing device between the inner surface of the guide and the outer casing. The sealing device includes a first part accommodated in a groove of the outer casing, the groove being delimited, in part, by a downstream delimiting surface, the first part having a first sealing surface and bearing axially against the downstream delimiting surface; and a second part having a second sealing surface bearing radially against the inner surface of the guide.
