display device, comprising a plurality of pixel units, wherein the pixel units comprise a
red light-emitting area, a
green light-emitting area, a yellow light-emitting area,and a
blue light-emitting area; the
display device further comprises a
blue light source and
color film transparent substrates located on the light emitting side of the
blue light source; the surfacesof the
color film transparent substrates in the
red light-emitting area, the
green light-emitting area and the yellow light-emitting area close to the blue
light source are respectively provided witha red filter layer, a green filter layer and a yellow filter layer; the red filter layer, the green filter layer and the yellow filter layer respectively emit
red light, blue light and yellow light under blue light illumination; a transparent material layer is disposed on the
color film transparent substrate in the blue light-emitting area; and the surfaces of the color film transparent substrates among the red light-emitting area, the
green light-emitting area, the yellow light-emitting area, and the blue light-emitting area close to the blue
light source are provided with black matrixes. The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the invention expands the display color
gamut of the
display device and improves the
utilization rate of light emitted by the light sources.
