The invention discloses a ball mill liner plate mounting method which comprises the following steps: transporting a liner plate to a hoisting position; raising the liner plate to a hydraulic trolley of a platform; arranging a steel wire rope in the axis of a ball mill cylinder in a penetrating manner, fixing the outlet side on a steel structural column of the platform, and fixing the inlet end onthe steel structural column; placing a hand chain hoist between the steel wire rope and the steel structural column of the platform, arranging a movable pulley on the top of the steel wire rope, and connecting a second hand chain hoist at the bottom of the movable pulley; adopting the second hand chain hoist to raise the liner plate to a designated height, adopting a tightrope to pull the movablepulley to move the movable pulley towards a cabin, when the movable pulley stops at the flexible point position of the steel wire rope, and putting down the liner plate; and positioning and mounting the liner plate from a stripper plate at the discharging end of the ball mill. According to the ball mill liner plate mounting method, safety and operability are fully taken into consideration, the universality is high, the mounting quality of the ball mill liner plate is effectively ensured, and installation of the same type or similar ball mill liner plate can be effectively guided.
