The invention relates to a six-degree-of-freedom connector for an ultra-large floating body composed of modules. The six-degree-of-freedom connector comprises a central
control room. An X-axis direction, a Y-axis direction and a Z-axis direction of the central
control room are respectively provided with at least one damping device. Each damping device comprises a
piston rod. One end of each
piston rod is located in a limiting room of the central
control room and the other end of each
piston rod is rotatably connected with a base. A damping medium is arranged between each base and the central control room. Each base is fixedly connected with a testing tool. Each
piston rod performs linear movement in the central control room. A rotary damping device is arranged between each
piston rod and each base. A limiting plate fixedly connected with the end portion of each
piston rod is arranged in each limiting room. The six-degree-of-freedom connector for the ultra-large floating body composed of modules has following beneficial effects: due to the emulation model experiment and the
wave loading model test of a module flexible function for ultra-large floating body, detailed tests can be carried out on such aspects as
structural stress, displacement measurement and dynamic loads; safety and applicability of the structure of the ultra-large floating body in the sea can be verified; and the basis for structural design and a calculating method of the ultra-large floating body in the sea is given.
