Multi-compartment flexible pouch

A flexible pouch with multiple compartments for packaging a product includes a wall having an inner surface and an outer surface, and an upper edge, an opposed lower edge and a side edge extending therebetween the upper edge and the lower edge. A mid-seam separates the wall into discrete compartments, and the mid-seam is a frangible seal that remains intact when a pressure within the pouch is below a predetermined bursting pressure, and breaks when the pressure within the pouch is greater than the predetermined bursting pressure. The pouch also includes an opening means integrally formed in at least one compartment for accessing a product contained within the pouch. A method of filling the multi-compartment pouch with a product includes the steps of simultaneously opening each compartment of the pouch using a pair of opposed first grippers positioned on each side edge of the pouch, a pair of opposed second grippers positioned on an upper edge of the pouch, and a pair of opposed suction members positioned on each compartment wall, and simultaneously pushing the first grippers inwardly and second grippers and suction members outwardly. The method further includes the steps of filling at least one of the opened compartments with a product applying a closing sealing to seal the filled compartments.

Reaming tool and a process for manufacturing such reaming tool

The invention relates to a reaming tool which has on its enveloping surface substantially helical flutes. High hardness cutting materials are brazed or soldered to the base material of the reaming tool. Thus, a cost-favourable manufacture of a reaming tool is provided. The invention makes it possible for the shaft and the head of the reaming tool to be made of solid carbide metal, the shaft and the head preferably constituting the one and same integrate body. A considerable improvement is obtained as regards the processing quality, the speed, and also the durability of the tool. This is based on the fact that the chip removal elements are sintered or brazed into the base body of the head initially shaped with the helical flutes, so that a material joint of high quality is provided compared to other joints.

Transfer case for motor vehicles and method for distribution of a driving force onto two motor vehicle axles

The present invention relates to a transfer case for distribution of a driving force on a first axle (9) and a second axle (8) of a motor vehicle. The transfer case (1) is arranged between the first axle (9) and the second axle (8). The transfer case (1) includes a planetary gear (3) with a central gear (4) (for example, a sun gear), a central gear (5) (for example, an internal gear), and a planetary pinion support (6) with multiple planetary pinions (7), as well as an electrical machine (2). The electrical machine (2) is connected with an element (4, 5, 6) of the planetary gear (3). The distribution of the driving force on the two axles (8, 9) takes place according to the present invention by means of controlling the electrical machine (2), in order to produce a predetermined moment of rotation on of the elements of the planetary gear (3), whereby the moment of rotation of the two other elements of the planetary gear, which is connected respectively with one of the axles, are fixed.
