Waiter call light (WCL)

The restaurant business is often a fast paced, stressful, and confusing business to work in. Servers frequently have a hard time guessing patron needs and patrons often find it difficult to gain the servers attention. Sometimes patrons want to be left alone with their meal or conversation only to be interrupted by a server, creating an uncomfortable situation for both patron and server. With the Waiter Call Light, patrons can gain the servers attention with a push of a button. With it's side mounted light source the server can easily know (even from across the room) when the customer requires attention. This will increase efficiency in communication between server and patron. Table turn over times can be significantly decreased, which helps shorten wait times, allows for more customers to be served, increases restaurant sales / profits, all while making the dining experience easier and more pleasurable for both server and customer.

Water detection assembly for primary drain lines

A water detection assembly having an electronic fluid-sensing probe located in-line within a primary drain line associated with a fluid-producing unit via probe connection to an access port used for clearing and removing clog-causing debris from the primary drain line. The probe has no moving parts and quick-disconnect connection to a signal-generating unit. The access port is configured for vertical or horizontal installation and introduction of chemicals to clean the drain without retrograde backflow into the fluid-producing unit. The probe is inserted into the access port through a longitudinal opening when vertically installed, and alternatively through a lateral opening in a horizontal installation. When the probe detects fluid, the connected signal-generating unit sends an electronic signal that shuts off fluid production, activates an alarm or pump, and / or provides remote notification. One of the two power potentials in the electronic fluid-sensing probe needed for signal generation may have a circular configuration.

Tube spreading device and boiler cleaning system

The boiler cleaning apparatus and method provides for cleaning the exterior surfaces of a heat exchanger. The apparatus and method include tools and steps, respectively, for temporarily spreading tubes and holding open the tubes to gain access to tube lanes. Once access to a lane is attained, a nozzle assembly having an outlet for blowing high velocity cleaning fluid is selected from a group of nozzle assemblies. The selected nozzle assembly will have an outlet for blowing fluid in a direction that effectively cleans the tubes adjacent the opened lane. After the tubes are cleaned the tool for holding the lane opened is removed and the process is repeated for another lane.
