Self-reactive/curable water-based solid adhesive and method of bonding with the self-reactive/curable water-based solid adhesive

Self-curable water-based solid adhesives of this invention include the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D): (A) an anionic-group-containing polymer terminally having an alkoxysilyl group, the polymer being a reaction product of a compound (A1) containing no anionic group and having plural isocyanate-reactive groups, a compound (A2) having an anionic group and plural isocyanate-reactive groups, a polyisocyanate compound (A3), and an alkoxysilane compound (A4) containing an isocyanate-reactive group; (B) a basic compound; (C) water; and (D) a gelling agent. The self-curable water-based solid adhesives of the present invention can be applied with good workability, have good fitting after attachment, have good adhesion to plastics, metals and glass and exhibit excellent heat resistance and water resistance after curing. They are highly safe to humans and the environment. They also have excellent shape retention and slidability and can be easily applied. In addition, they can bond adherends by contact bonding despite that they are water-based solid adhesives. Accordingly, the self-curable water-based solid adhesives of this invention are very useful as stick adhesives.

The method comprises the following steps: enabling the viscosity of a glue stick to fail: exposing one glue stick with the mass of ms marked as No. 1 to air, placing the other glue stick in a blast electric heating constant-temperature drying box, and baking to fail, wherein the glue stick is marked as No. 2; placing the failed No. 2 glue stick on gauze, placing the gauze on a digital display constant-temperature water bath kettle, covering glue blocks with a large beaker, adjusting the temperature of the water bath kettle, setting different times, respectively taking out the glue blocks, and checking the effect of viscosity recovery; measuring the bonding performance; storing the glue blocks recovered in viscosity at an ambient temperature of 20 to 40 DEG C for a certain period of time, and examining the use effects. The method has the beneficial effects that the water temperature of80 DEG C is steamed for 30 min in the constant-temperature water bath kettle, the viscosity recovery effect is good, the viscosity of the glue stick is recovered in a simple and easy way, and the waste rate of the product is reduced, and the method has certain significance for saving resources and reducing environmental pollution.

Transparent Solid Glue and Manufacturing Method Thereof

A transparent solid glue, in mass percentage comprises: 10.0%-50.0% of glycerol, 5.0%-20.0% of propylene glycol, 5.0%-30.0% of sticky substance, 1.0%-10.0% of stearic acid, 0-5.0% of vegetable oil, 0.5%-5.0% of protopine, 0.1%-5.0 of excipient, 0.1%-0.5% of preservative, and 5.0%-70.0% of deionized water, wherein the excipient is C12-16 saturated or unsaturated fatty acid salt. The prepared transparent solid glue has high initial viscosity; and the drying time is controllable so that the gluing position of the objects to be glued can be adjusted according to actual requirements, which is convenient to use, and the glue exhibits strong adhesion after completely drying. Meanwhile, the addition of protopine causes the pH of the solid glue to be between 10.49-10.99, and accordingly the solid glue is an environmentally friendly solid glue. Within a temperature range from −5° C. to 40° C., this solid glue is widely applicable to gluing paper, wood pieces, photographic paper, paperboards and etc.

Method for treating spent glue by using acid-base solution

The invention discloses a method for treating spent glue by using an acid-base solution. The method comprises the following steps of: deprivation of the stickiness of a glue stick: exposing one glue stick having a mass of m<s> and marked as No. 1 in the air, putting another glue stick into an air-blowing electrothermal constant-temperature drying box, setting a temperature to be 80 DEG C, and baking the another glue stick for 40 min to deprive the stickiness of the another glue stick, marking the another glue stick as No. 2, and, namely marking a normal glue stick without any treatment as No.3; stickiness recovery of the glue stick: treating the glue stick No. 2 with the acid-base solution, and checking the stickiness recovery effect of the glue stick; and stickiness recovery test: carrying out a peeling test and measuring stickiness retention time after the stickiness is recovered. The beneficial effects of the invention are as follows: after the glue stick No. 2 has been soaked in oxalic acid with a concentration of 5% for 30 min or has been soaked in acetic acid and in an oxalic acid with a concentration of 10% for 15 min respectively, the stickiness of glue stick No. 2 is wellrecovered, and the stickiness retention time is long; the stickiness of the glue stick is recovered in a simple and feasible manner; and the waste rate of glue sticks is lowered, which is of certainsignificance to conservation of resources and reduction of environmental pollution.
