The present invention recognises and eliminates from a biomagnetic measurement signal interferences whose source is disposed in the direct vicinity of an object being measured. The invention utilises the SSS method that can be used to separate from one another the signals associated with the internal and external sources of a set of measurement sensors by calculating two series developments. The sources to be examined in the invention and disposed in the so-called intermediate space produce a component to both of the developments, and can, therefore, be detected by means of an analysis to be performed in a time domain. This division into components can be made using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the Independent Component Analysis (ICA) or the Singular Value Decomposition. Finally, the clarified interferences in the intermediate space can be eliminated from the measured signal using, for example, the linear algebraic orthogonal projection.

A biomagnetic measurement apparatus having functions to detect the release of a magnetic field lock in a SQUID fluxmeter operation circuit due to the influence of a much greater noise level than that of a biomagnetic signal, to notify an operator of the release of the magnetic field lock, and to automatically or manually revert to a state for allowing magnetic measurement. The release of the magnetic field lock occurs when an integrator of the fluxmeter operation circuit is saturated. Thus, a high pass filter is provided at a subsequent stage of the integrator, and a function is provided to judge that the integrator is in a saturated state when the noise level of the output after passing through the high pass filter is lower than a pre-set threshold. The biomagnetic measurement apparatus can detect a saturated state of the integrator, which is a cause for the release of the magnetic field lock of the SQUID fluxmeter operation circuit, and thereby when the loading of measured data is conducted in an appropriate operation range of a magnetic sensor, or even when a part of the loaded measured data is data outside an operation range of the magnetic sensor, it is possible to deal with the data so as to properly analyze it.

A magnetic field component in the z direction, vertical to the chest surface of a subject, is measured from two directions, front and back of the chest, and then to calculate the current distributions in the two directions and the distributions of the amplitudes of those current distributions. A three-dimensional standard heart model is created from average data on the cardiac morphology obtained from plural healthy subjects. An optimal position of the model is determined using the coordinates of the sinus node and the coordinates of the left ventricle. Then, a weight coefficient is obtained by front and back current distributions and front and back the distributions of the amplitudes of those current distributions on a set boundary of the model.

The invention relates to a readout circuit based on SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) offset voltage reversal and a method for inhibiting low-frequency noise. The main process of the method comprises the steps of: (1) regulating an input offset voltage in an amplifier; (2) loading an alternating-current square-wave offset voltage; (3) regulating a flux phase and compensating direct-current flux; (4) eliminating carrier waves; and (5) outputting in an integral feedback manner. The circuit related by the invention is simpler in structure and convenient for multi-channel integration, and can be widely applied to low-frequency measurements such as biomagnetism and geophysical exploration, etc.
