The invention discloses a
seedling method for improving the emergence rate of
malus toringoides seeds. The
seedling method comprises the steps of when
malus toringoides fruits turn red or dark red, collecting the
malus toringoides fruits,
drying full seeds obtained from the
malus toringoides fruits in shade in a room, packing the seeds into a sack, and storing on a ventilated place; carrying out after-
ripening on an
embryo after cold stratification; carrying out deep-ploughing in a selected nursery land for one time in the winter of the last year, and making a
seedbed which is lightly protruded in middle according to 120cm width, 10cm height and about 25cm width of step
ditch; loosening soil in the last ten-day period of March of the next year, applying a composite
fertilizer as a base
fertilizer, and disinfecting the soil; seeding through an artificial
sowing way, covering with
humus soil, completely watering for one time, building a plastic tent for preserving the heat and covering in a
moisture-preserving manner; and after seeding, keeping the
seedbed wet, removing a mulching film in real time when buds begin to hump, and carrying out final-singling by a
plant spacing of 8-10cm when 4-6 true leaves appear on each of the seedlings. The
seedling method adopts a manner of directly seeding after adopting the cold stratification for one time, is simple and easy in operation, and reduces seed usage and seedling cost; and the seed emergence rate is greater than 60%, so that the seedlings are stronger in growth.
