Semiconductor device and method of stacking semiconductor chips

In a semiconductor device, two or more semiconductor chips are stacked, a first semiconductor chip has electrical contact pads at such positions that form a mirror image of electrical contact pads provided on a second semiconductor chip; and the electrical contact pads on the first semiconductor chip are positioned opposite to and connected to the corresponding electrical contact pads on the second semiconductor chip. Thus, semiconductor chips can be stacked stably. The semiconductor device is reduced in thickness, and a method of stacking semiconductor chips is offered.

Accumulator with pickup tube

A suction accumulator for refrigeration or air-conditioning system use, especially for automotive air conditioning system use, which comprises a “pickup tube” to withdraw liquid from a reservoir of the accumulator to return oil to the compressor. The accumulator has a deflector with an outlet tube, to help ensure that fluid does not flow directly from the inlet opening to the outlet opening of the accumulator. The relatively narrow second portion of the outlet tube is closer to the outlet opening than the first portion. The pickup tube is secured in communication with the relatively narrow second portion and optimises the oil return function, minimises restriction to refrigerant flow, maximises effective and actual reservoir volume, and minimises the amount of liquid delivered to the compressor at switch-off. Incorporating an electric heating element or a heat exchanger for engine coolant or exhaust allows the accumulator of the present invention to function as the evaporator when the refrigeration system is used in heat pump mode for heating applications.

The tactile sensing array comprises N * M tactile sensing units and an interconnection line network; the tactile sensing unit is a grid-shaped metal foil wrapped and packaged by a conformal polymer, and an in-situ hard micro-column array is integrated on each grid-shaped metal foil; the interconnection line network comprises N row lines and M column lines which are vertically crossed, the row lines and the columnlines are insulated from each other by crossed insulating pads, and the row lines and the column lines are wrapped and packaged by the conformal polymers; and the flexible substrate and the tactile sensing array are bonded into a whole. According to the invention, the in-situ hard micro-column extrusion grid-shaped metal foil structure is constructed according to the mechanism that the resistanceof the metal foil is changed under pressure, and a novel tactile sensor array is constructed by combining the in-situ hard micro-column extrusion grid-shaped metal foil structure as a tactile sensingunit with the interconnection line network; and the novel tactile sensor array has the advantages of high stability, high sensitivity, low hysteresis, high integration level and the like.
