Channel allocation method and apparatus for wireless communication networks

A channel allocation method for use in a wireless communication environment, where Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) and Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) coexist, includes collecting, at an access point, information on channels used by the WLANs and WPANs, determining available WLAN channels and available WPAN channels based on the channel information, allocating one of the available WLAN channels and one of the available WPAN channels to the access point, and informing the WLANs and WPANs of the allocated WLAN and WPAN channels.

Rectifier circuit

A rectifier circuit includes: a switching circuit having an input end, an output terminal and a control end, wherein the input end of the switching circuit receives an input voltage; a control circuit electrically connected to the control end of the switching circuit, wherein, when a load current is smaller than a reference current, the rectifier circuit is situated at a light-load state and the control circuit reduces a switching frequency of the switching circuit; and a filtering circuit which is electrically connected between the output end of the switching circuit and an output terminal of the rectifier circuit, and includes at least one inductive component of which a current is formed by superposition of the load current and a ripple current, wherein, when the load current is smaller than the reference current, an inductance of the inductive component increases with the decrease of the load current.

Dual-notch antenna and antenna array thereof

A dual-notch antenna includes a radiation member and two microstrip lines. The radiation member is formed in a rectangular shape, with two first lateral sides disposed in opposite, and two second lateral sides disposed on two ends of the two first sides, respectively. The middle section of each first lateral side is concavely provided with a notch. Each notch has a feeding side and two cove sides, wherein the feeding side is disposed in parallel to the first lateral sides. The two cove sides are connected with two ends of the feeding side. Each microstrip line has one end thereof electrically connected with the feeding side of the corresponding notch, respectively.

The disclosure relates to a tunable optical light source spanning the UV-range and possible also the visible and near-IR wavelengths. The tunable optical light source includes an input light source, a focusing element, a non-linear crystal arranged to convert the frequency of at least part of the output spectrum of the super continuum source, and a holding unit for the non-linear crystal. The input light source is a super continuum light source with a spectral bandwidth of at least about 300 nm and the holding unit is adjustable for changing the frequency converted output wavelength of the non-linear crystal wfc such that the lowest obtainable output wavelength wUV of said tunable light source is ultraviolet. The disclosure further relates to an illumination source and an optical measurement system.
