The invention discloses an attitude control system for space vehicle and a method thereof. The control system has only one biased momentum wheel, one set of tri-axial magnetic torquer and one attitude controller loaded with algorithm. The method comprises a step of rate damping controlling, a step of initially capturing controlling and a step of stationarity controlling. At the rate damping stage, geomagnetism change is used to control the magnetic control of three passages of a satellite by B-dot; at the initially capturing stage, the magnetic control is realized, PD control is performed by pitching and the passages are rolled and yawed to carry out nutation and precession composite control; at the stationarity controlling stage, the magnetic control is realized, PD control is performed by pitching and the passages are rolled and yawed to carry out nutation and precession composite control. The capturing stage and the stationarity controlling stage fully depend on magnetic torquer to perform positive magnetic control, thereby changing which a satellite only uses a magnetic torquer to carry out unload of the momentum wheel or auxiliary magnetic control, so as to refine system configuration to further improve reliability of the system. Momentum of a satellite is biased to rotate on the ground, so as to ensure stable separation of the satellite without performing air injection control. Therefore, the magnetic torquer can be used for realizing fast and stable initial rate damping.

A fluid control valve having a spring biased shuttle plunger member which opens or closes fluid flow through a plurality of radially spaced apart fluid passageways disposed between an upstream chamber and downstream chamber in the valve body responsive to a fluid pressure greater than the spring force and any differential pressure between the upstream and downstream chambers to prevent fluid from being supplied at a pressure higher than a desired operating pressure and prevent high dynamic differential pressures, such as a “water hammer” or explosive pressure. Alternatively, in a normally closed embodiment, pilot fluid at a pressure greater than the spring force and any differential pressure in the upstream chamber is utilized to open the valve, which is then closed by the spring force.

A two stage compressor or pump with integral electronically controlled multiphase linear motor incorporates a cup shaped moving piston as a stator. The linear motor body has an intake head with valve fitted at the end adjacent to the closed end of the cup shaped piston. A discharge head with a central discharge tube extending into the hollow center of the cup shaped moving piston is fitted to the opposite end of the motor body. As the piston reciprocates it draws the working fluid in through the intake valve, compresses and transfers it through an interstage valve in the closed end of the moving piston into a second variable volume chamber formed by the inside of the cup shaped piston and the discharge tube which acts as a fixed piston, and then further compresses and transfers it out through a valve in the discharge tube. While the design is particularly well suited for use as a compressor in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, it can also be used as a pump.

Compared with other drilling tools, the torsional impact drilling tool disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the high-frequency torsional impact can be generated, the sticking-sliding phenomenon of the drilling bit is eliminated, the mechanical drilling rate of harder or abrasive formation is increased, the service life of matched components, such as the drilling bit and the like of the drill column is prolonged, the drilling efficiency is improved and the drilling cost is reduced.

In their undeformed position, the vanes (46) do not deflect the incoming air, thereby causing little or no flow restriction. To achieve the desired positive or negative pre-whirl of flow to the compressor (12-22), the trailing edge (62) of the vanes (46) are deflected transverse to the direction of flow in the channel (34) in either the positive or negative direction.

A novel sliding door and window operating system is especially conducive for use on sliding patio doors and larger window panels. The system uses a small motor to electrically power and rotate a lead screw enclosed within a casing. A guide block on the lead screw is positioned within an opening, inset into the door or window panel which is to be slideably moved. The motor is actuated by use of a switch. The motor rotates the lead screw which in turn moves the guide block back and forth longitudinally within the casing. As the guide block is located within the inset opening of the door or window panel, as the guide block moves it carries the panel along with it, thus opening and closing the panel.
