Dynamic deviation

A method and related apparatus and software of detecting anomalies in a stream of data values. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a data value on the stream of data; calculating a new weighted average responsive to the received data value, a previously stored weighted average associated with the stream of data, and a decay rate in the range of 0 to 1; and calculating a new measure of deviation from the new weighted average responsive to the new weighted average, the data value, a previously stored measure of deviation associated with the stream of data, and the decay rate.

Methods and processes of hydrogen peroxide production

The present invention relates to simplified processes for the preparation of pure hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). H2O2 is a known oxidizer and disinfectant that is used in many industrial processes having many uses in the pharmaceutical, electronic, food and water purification industries. The present invention presents the use of sulfuric acid (H2SO4) as a catalyst utilizing water and electricity as the only raw materials for the production of H2O2. Separation processes are performed with membranes. Produced hydrogen is used as a fuel in a fuel cell, thereby reducing electrical cost. H2O2 is an ideal oxidizer and disinfectant in water purification systems, especially drinking water purification. All other disinfectants create disinfection by-products upon their reaction with Natural Organic Matter (NOM) in the water. Pure H2O2 is a requirement for the electronics industry in the production of printed circuit boards. By producing H2O2 without organic chemistry, organic contamination of H2O2 is minimized.

Hot water supply device

The Present invention provides a hot water supply device in which the temperature of hot water stored at high temperature in a hot water storage tank or the like can be lowered to a temperature for use at which the risk of scalding is prevented, when supplied to a hot water usage part, without need for cold water to be mixed with the high-temperature hot water. A hot water supply device comprising a hot water storage tank, a cold water supply line for supplying cold water to the hot water storage tank, a hot water supply line for supplying hot water from a hot water storage tank to a hot water usage part, and high-temperature hot water discharge prevention means provided, along a hot water supply channel of these lines, for preventing high-temperature hot water discharge to the hot water usage part. The high-temperature hot water discharge prevention means is configured from a heat exchanger means provided to effect heat exchange between hot water of the hot water supply line and cold water of the cold water supply line and a flow rate control means for controlling the flow rates of the hot water in the hot water supply line and cold water of the cold water supply line. The control of this flow rate control means is executed in response to the temperature of the hot water and the cold water.

Air conditioner

An air conditioner which can appropriately determine the amount of refrigerant without requiring much time even if there is a liquid refrigerant accumulated in an accumulator when the determination is performed. An air conditioner (1) has a refrigerant circuit (10) having an accumulator, a shutoff mechanism (38), a refrigerant detecting mechanism (39), an operation controlling means, a refrigerant amount determining means, a means for determining liquid refrigerant accumulation, and a liquid refrigerant releasing means. In a cooling operation condition, the refrigerant detecting mechanism detects the quantity of state of the amount of refrigerant present upstream of the shutoff mechanism. The operation controlling means performs liquid refrigerant containing control. The refrigerant amount determining means determines whether or not the amount of refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit is appropriate based on the quantity of state of the amount of the refrigerant detected by the refrigerant detecting mechanism in the liquid refrigerant containing control. The means for determining liquid refrigerant accumulation determines whether or not liquid refrigerant is accumulated in the accumulator. When it is determined that liquid refrigerant is accumulated in the accumulator, the liquid refrigerant releasing means releases the liquid refrigerant from the accumulator.

The invention provides a numerical operation implementation method for Huffman coding, which comprises the following steps of: counting the occurrence probability of each character in data to obtain acharacter set and a corresponding probability set; calculating the coding length of each character in the character set of the data, abbreviating the coding length sequence of each character as a code length set, and calculating the code length sequence according to the probability set and the code length set; according to the code length sequence, Huffman codes are output in a numerical operation mode, the code length sequence of a character set to be coded is calculated in a particularly simple and convenient mode, then the code length sequence is sorted, and codes of the character set aredirectly generated; under the condition that the Huffman tree is prevented from being constructed, the coding effect the same as that of classic Huffman normal form coding is obtained, redundant calculation and storage in construction of the Huffman tree are eliminated, and the coding efficiency is improved. The invention further provides a numerical operation implementation circuit for Huffman coding, and the implementation circuit is simple, easy to implement and low in energy consumption.
