Vacuum storage container

A container is provided for storing items in a vacuum state. The container includes a receptacle with associated lid. A lever and clamp act together as a toggle to exert a relatively high closure force on the lid. The container includes a vacuum pump, preferably within a base of the container. A switch is provided to activate and deactivate the pump which is activated by the lever when the lever is pivoted to a closed position. A sensor is optionally also provided to shut off the pump when a sufficiently low pressure is reached. The lid includes a bleed port which is closed by the clamp when the lid is closed. When the lever and clamp are pivoted to an open position, this bleed port is opened so that pressure equalization occurs and the lid can be easily opened without fighting atmospheric pressure forces acting on the lid.

Method for lining an existing pipe and collar for protecting a lining material

A tubular lining material for an existing pipe is comprised of a flexible resin absorber impregnated with a liquid setting resin and is radially spread out at one end part to form a plurality of cut pieces. A flange of a flexible resin absorber impregnated with a liquid setting resin is stacked on the cut pieces and brought into pressure contact with a surface surrounding the pipe opening of the existing pipe before the lining material is evertedly inserted into the existing pipe. The liquid setting resin in the flange and the cut pieces is cured and fixed to the surrounding surface of the pipe opening of the existing pipe. Such an arrangement enables the complete sealing of a gap between the inner circumference of the existing pipe and the outer circumference of the lining material at the circumferential edge part of the pipe opening of the existing pipe because the flange is cured in conformation to t the surrounding surface of the pipe opening of the existing pipe.

The present invention relates to a structure of chip type electrolytic capacitor, which comprises a casing cover and a partition to separate space of casing cover into a dielectric chamber and a buffer chamber, a dielectric which includes lead pins, holes on the partition for the lead pins pass through. The dielectric is installed in the dielectric chamber, and lead pins pass through the holes on partition and extend to the buffer chamber. The buffer chamber is sealed with a bottom cover which also includes holes for lead pins. A stuff of epoxide is filled into the buffer chamber to fix the dielectric and its lead pins. A top cover is to seal the dielectric chamber for filling electrolyte. The casing cover is made with high strength engineering plastic by plastic injection machine. A supersonic welding and the epoxide adhesive solidification package technologies replace rubber packing. This skill of the art can enhance airtight and reduce volume of chip type electrolytic capacitor to anti shock and electrolyteleaking.

When the battery pack is judged as being degraded in a market, the battery pack is collected from the market as a battery to be replaced; a cell or battery module judged as being degraded is renewed by adding an electrolyte thereto; the battery module is installed in the battery pack again; and the battery pack is supplied as a replacement battery.

A system for sealing a region of open hole gravel pack comprising a sealing patch and an installation tool is described. The sealing patch includes a tubular assembly including two expandable anchor / seals and two low melting temperature alloy elements positioned on outside surface of the tubular assembly above the anchor / seals. The system is deployed in desirable location in the well and the tool is operated to set anchor / seals in interference contact with sand-screen. Then the alloy elements are melted to seal the patch. The anchor / seals serve two purposes: they provide a hanging capacity to support the patch in the well and create a “bridge” preventing the molten alloy from freely flowing through the annulus between the tubular assembly and sand screen and focusing the molten alloy at the anchor / seals to flow in radial direction penetrating through the sand-screen and the surrounding proppant sand creating a complete seal.

When a metal ribbon is ultrasonic-bonded, a peripheral area of an island and hanging pins provided in the periphery of the island need to be clamped by use of clampers of a bonder to prevent the island from being lifted up. Accordingly, when the protrusion and the end portion of the lead are simultaneously pressed by the damper, it is possible to prevent the island from being lifted up even when no hanging pin or no clamp area around the island is provided.
