On the basis of traditional cutting ring, the system for sampling soil provided by the invention is used for realizing the complete soil-cutting through upper and lower parts of the cutting ring, by utilizing an upper soil-cutting wire and a compass dragger to drive a lower soil-cutting wire, thereby avoiding the phenomenon of breaking or sticking soil after taking out the cutting ring and having minimum disturbance to the original soil. By combining with the slot former, the deep soil can be sampled without disturbance. The whole system has simple structure, is conveniently operated and has high sampling efficiency. The invention also discloses a method for sampling soil by using the system.
