The invention relates to a digital holographic measurement technology of a particle field and aims to provide a compact digital holographic apparatus and method of a particle field. The apparatus comprises a laser source and a spatial filter, a collimating beam expander, a beam splitter and a first half transparent and half reflecting mirror which are sequentially arranged along the transmitting direction of the laser source, wherein the beam splitter, an attenuator and a second half transparent and half reflecting mirror are sequentially arranged in the direction vertical to the transmitting direction of the laser source; a totally reflecting mirror, the second half transparent and half reflecting mirror, an imaging lens and a CCD (charge coupled device) detector are sequentially arranged in the direction opposite to the transmitting direction of the laser source; the totally reflecting mirror corresponds to the first half transparent and half reflecting mirror; and the CCD detector is connected to a computer through a signal wire. The apparatus can conveniently control the recording plane of a hologram, and particularly can ensure the recording plane to be at the right side of the first half transparent and half reflecting mirror. Optical patternation method

To measure property-specific distributions like surface area and mass concentrations, in a particle field that attenuates light passing therethrough, such as a spray or aerosol, a probe beam having a suitably selected wavelength is directed into and thereby caused to interact with the particle field. Light produced by this interaction is detected by sensors separated a distance from the beam. Extinction of the probe as it propagates through the particle field is quantified by determining the amount of light exiting the field in comparison with the amount of light entering the field. The property specific concentrations are determined from the light detected by the sensors after correcting for the extinction of the beam as well as attenuation of the light traveling the distance from the beam to the sensors. The light produced by the interaction of the probe with the particle field may include scattering, fluorescence, or both. Further, methods enable the user to determine the mass and surface area distributions of a spray or aerosol by traversing a single laser beam through the ensemble of particles to be investigated.

The invention discloses a magnetic particle field current separating device and method based on a rotating magnetic field. The device comprises a three-phase winding which comprises a first phase winding, a second phase winding and a third phase winding. The first phase winding, the second phase winding and the third phase winding are connected in a star shape and are symmetrically arranged on a base with the axis of the base as a shaft. The initial ends of the first phase winding, the second phase winding and the third phase winding communicate with the output end of a three-phase power source. Output current of the three-phase power source is symmetrical three-phase sine alternating current. The base is of a hollow structure, and a separation channel is formed in a space designed by thebase. According to the magnetic particle field current separating device, the separation channel is arranged in the internal cylindrical space defined by the three-phase winging and the base, and magnitude and frequency of three-phase voltage added to the three-phase winding are adjusted through a frequency converter. The frequency of magnetic particles affected by the rotating magnetic field is controlled, the magnitude of magnetic induction intensity of the separation channel is changed, and filed current separation of the magnetic particles with different particle diameters or magnetic particles which are the same in particle diameter but different in magnetic susceptibility.
