235 results about "Gas mask" patented technology

A gas mask is a mask used to protect the wearer from inhaling airborne pollutants and toxic gases. The mask forms a sealed cover over the nose and mouth, but may also cover the eyes and other vulnerable soft tissues of the face. Most gas masks are also respirators, though the word gas mask is often used to refer to military equipment (e.g. field protective mask). The user of the gas mask is not protected from gas that the skin can absorb. Most gas mask filters will last around 24 hours in a nuclear biological chemical (NBC) situation.

Anti-pathogenic air filtration media and air handling devices having protective capabilities against infectious airborne mircoorganisms

The present invention provides an anti-pathogenic air filtration medium comprising a fibrous substrate whose fibers are coated with coating comprising a polymer. The coating provides an environment that is destructive to airborne pathogens. In particular, the filter medium can be used in a building air handling system that both filters the air and eliminates pathogens. The filter medium also can be used to create a new bio-protective gas mask that not only offers protection against chemical warfare agents, but also provides protection against biological pathogens.

Gas mask filter canister

A filter for a gas mask has an elliptical or circular, convex shape to conform to the curvature of the wearer's face, or a planar shape. The filter comprises a double particulate filter element and a double adsorption filter element configured for axial airflow therethrough with a bifurcated flow pattern. The adsorption filter element comprises a granulated charcoal, a composite material having carbon particles combined with binder particles, or an immobilized bed of charcoal granules and EVA-coated fibers.

Liquid delivery system of gas mask

A gas mask liquid delivery system including a gas mask having a liquid inlet port. A liquid control adapter having a body with a first end with an outlet opening formed therein, a second end with an inlet opening formed therein, and an interior chamber formed within the body. An inlet chamber extends from the inlet opening to the interior chamber and an outlet chamber extends from the outlet opening to the interior chamber. The inlet and outlet openings, inlet, interior, and outlet chambers, define a flow path when placed in open communication with each other to permit liquid to flow through the flow path. A stopper controls the flow of the liquid through the flow path. The outlet opening connects the adapter to the liquid inlet port. A flow tube connects a liquid source to a connector, wherein the inlet opening of the adapter is connected to the connector.

Gas mask

The present invention relates to a gas mask comprising: a rubber material face mask, which is worn on the face for protecting the face against toxic substances, and which includes a purification container connection hole to which a purification container is connected, a lens hole in which a lens is installed, an exhaust hole in which an exhaust unit for exhausting inside air is installed, and a hook which protrudes toward a back direction; a buckle onto one side of which the hook on the face mask is coupled so as to be separable; a back head cover, which comprises a coupling lace which is coupled to the other side of the buckle so as to be separable, for covering the back head of the wearer by connecting to the back side of the face mask by means of the buckle when the coupling lace is coupled to the buckle; a headscarf, which is provided with an exposure hole through which the front surface of the face mask provided with the connection hole, the lens hole, and the exhaust hole, is exposed, wherein the periphery of the exposure hole is connected to the edge of the front surface of the face mask to shield the head portion of the wearer; and a connector for partially connecting the periphery of the exposure hole, which is formed on the headscarf, to the face mask. In the present invention, the periphery of the exposure hole, which is formed on the headscarf, is connected to the face mask by means of the connector so that the headscarf is securely and quickly connected to the face mask, thereby protecting the head of the wearer from toxic substances.

Fire-extinguishing escape method and device for high-rise building

InactiveCN102151371ASuitable for fireSuitable for escapeFire rescueFire controlFirefighting
The utility model relates to a fire-extinguishing escape method and a device for a high-rise building. A heat insulation chamber, a buffering chamber, an oxygen cylinder, a gas mask and a fire extinguisher are utilized to form an asylum device; and the asylum device, fire extinguishing substances, a fire pump, a power generator, a fire hose, a fire-extinguishing substance supply pipe and an escape ladder are fixedly arranged on more than one floor of the building. When the fire happens to the building, and an electric network source and a source deepening on the power transmission are interrupted, the fire is extinguished by means of an independent fire extinguishing device; meanwhile, the adjacent fire pumps are connected with the power transmission fire extinguishing substances to carry out fire extinguishment to a high-rise area; and an evacuee can wait for rescue in the asylum device through the buffering chamber and the heat insulation chamber or evacuate from the outside of the building by utilizing the escape ladder in an escape device. As the asylum device, the independent fire extinguishing device, the fire extinguishing substances and the escape device are fixedly arranged in the building, the firefighting escape method and the device are particularly suitable for the fire control and the escape from a super high-rise building.
