A projection screen includes a plurality of convex portions serving as a light diffusion control portion, on the surface of a substrate. An optical thin film overlies the substrate and has convex portions having the same shape as that of the convex portions of the substrate. When external light enters the optical thin film with light in three primary color wavelength bands, the optical thin film reflects only the light in the three color wavelength bands and absorbs at least visible light of the external light. When light in the three primary color wavelength bands perpendicularly enters the optical thin film, the rays of the light have incident angles at the convex portions of the optical thin film and diffuse-reflected at angles twice the incident angles. Thus, a predetermined percentage of the light is diffused to increase the viewing angle of the screen.

The present invention relates generally to an illumination device used in dermoscopy. More particularly, the invention comprises an improved apparatus for enhanced imaging and illumination of the skin for medical examination and treatment. An array of LEDs encircle a magnifying lens assembly. One set of surrounding LEDs provides cross-polarized white light to aid in canceling the reflected light from the skin and creating less glare. Another set of surrounding LEDs provides non-polarized white light for traditional immersion fluid dermoscopy or for non-polarized viewing of the skin. A third set of surrounding LEDs provides polarized colored light, wherein the wavelength color is selected at a color wavelength that maximizes the viewing of skin pigment regions which is important for early detection of skin cancers and other skin diseases. In an embodiment of the invention the colored LEDs comprise orange light at a wavelength of 588 nm. The present invention also discloses that the range of colored LEDs in the orange portion of the visible spectrum, namely at 581 nm to 600 nm wavelengths.

The invention discloses a dynamic color holographic device based on a metasurface and a manufacturing method of the dynamic color holographic device. The dynamic color holographic device is composed of a liquid crystal layer and a metasurface layer. The manufacturing method of the dynamic color holographic device mainly comprises a design and manufacturing method of a super-structure surface and a packaging method of liquid crystal. According to the invention, the metasurface is combined with the polarization regulation and control function of the liquid crystal, so that the dynamic switching of color holographic patterns of the device under the condition of incidence of the same linearly polarized light is realized. Through careful design of the nano-columns on the surface of the super-structure, independent control of wavelengths of different colors can be naturally realized, so that holographic images corresponding to different wavelengths can be imaged at the same position, and color holography is realized. An electric control tuning mode is adopted, and the tuning process is simple; according to the method, phase matching is carried out on the nano-structure units at all positions on the super-structure surface by using the particle swarm optimization algorithm, and compared with other matching algorithms, the method is simpler and easier to implement and does not have adjustment of many parameters.
