Inks that contain ionically stabilized dispersions and selected polyurethane ink additives are described. These ionically stabilized dispersions are obtained from polymeric dispersants where the hydrophilic components are minimized. These stabilized dispersions can be utilized to prepare ink jet inks which when printed result in improved optical density, chroma, gloss and especially distinctness of image. The stability of the ionically stabilized dispersions are sufficient for ink jet inks. The polyurethane ink additives are chosen from polyurethanes which are urea terminated or crosslinked.

Electrochromic material and electrochromic device

Provided are an electrochromic material and an electrochromic device. The electrochromic material comprises a cathode electrochromic material, an anodic electrochromic material, and a mixture of electrolyte and acrylic acid ion salt polyelectrolyte. The anodic electrochromic material is 10-methylphenothiazine. The electrolyte is ethylene carbonate or gamma-butyrolactone. The electrochromic device comprises transparent glass, and reflective glass. All around of the transparent glass and the reflective glass are adhered by an adhesive to form a cavity, which is filled with the electrochromic material. The present invention has the advantages that: the electrochromic material adds charged acrylic acid ion salt polyelectrolyte into a non-uniform electric field, so that the chromism speed of the electrochromic material is fast; and the electrochromic device prepared by the photochromic material is very low in cathode electrochromic material and anode electrochromic material migration rate after a long time chromism.

The invention relates to a method for preparing a multiple-stimulation respond material by virtue of a two-step process. The method comprises the following steps: putting maleimide into a reaction bottle, adding N,N-dimethylformamide and a halogenating reagent, heating until the temperature reaches 58 DEG C for reacting for 48-72 hours, and adding water and dichloromethane sequentially for suction filtration to obtain 3,4-dihalogenmaleimide; putting 3,4-dihalogenmaleimide and a palladium bis(triphenylphosphine) dichloride catalyst into a flask, vacuumizing, then filling the flask with nitrogen, injecting anhydrous N,N-dimethylformamide and 2-(tributylstannyl)thiophene, increasing the temperature to 100 DEG C for reacting for 12 hours, cooling, then adding the mixed solution of dichloromethane and saturated potassium fluoride aqueous solution, then extracting, drying, filtering and purifying through column chromatography to obtain 3,4-bis(2'-thienyl)maleimide. The material prepared by the method provided by the invention has the advantages of good heat stability, simple synthesis steps, high solid-state fluorescent quantum efficiency and the like, and also has the properties of piezallochromy, thermochromism, solvent induced chromism and the like.
