The invention discloses a fortified straight-flow biological contact
oxidation pond and an operation method thereof. The
oxidation pond comprises a pond body, the cross section of the pond body is rectangular, the length-
width ratio is (1:1)-(2:1), the pond body is internally sequentially provided with an
aeration area, a packing layer and a water stabilization layer from bottom to top, and the height ratio of the
aeration area, the packing layer and the water stabilization layer is 1:4:1.2; the outer side of the pond body is provided with a water inlet
pipe at the
aeration area and provided with a water outlet
pipe at the water stabilization layer, and the bottom of the pond body is provided with a blowdown
pipe; an aerator is arranged in the aeration area; a packing frame fixed on the inner wall of the pond body is arranged in the packing layer, and packing is hung on the packing frame; and a
plant growth frame fixed on the inner wall of the pond body is arranged in the water stabilization layer. When the
oxidation pond is operating, aquatic plants are planted on the
plant growth frame in the water stabilization layer so as to form
plant fortification, therefore, the
sewage purification effect is enhanced, the SS of
effluent water can be significantly reduced, a situation that the
effluent water is turbid is avoided, the
sewage retention time is reduced, and the purification efficiency is improved; and the oxidation pond is small in occupied space, convenient to operate and maintain, and low in investment and operation costs.
