Habitat enclosure

A habitat enclosure comprising a removably disposed housing or outer covering shaped or otherwise configured to represent an animate object is presented. Furthermore, the outer covering is disposed in a removable, yet confronting engagement with a container, the container being viewable through a display area of the outer covering. The container also comprises a lid removably disposed relative to a basin in order to allow at least temporary access into said interior portion thereof. The enclosure further comprises one or more access channels disposed through the outer covering and into a communicative relation with the interior portion of the container in order to facilitate feeding, breathing, and / or draining or other maintenance. A lighting assembly is disposed in an illuminating relation with the container such that the apparatus may be used as a night-light or other soothing accent.

Backlight Module and Liquid Crystal Display Device

A backlight module is provided in the present disclosure. The backlight module comprises a light guide panel and at least one point light source adapted to provide light rays for the light guide panel. The light guide panel comprises a primary light guide region and a secondary light guide region with respect to the point light source, and a plurality of scattering microstructures are disposed in the secondary light guide region to scatter the light rays entering the secondary light guide region. The backlight module features uniform intensity and can significantly reduce or even eliminate occurrence of the so-called hotspot phenomenon. A liquid crystal display (LCD) device using the backlight module is also provided.

Projectile with tail-mounted gas generator assembly

A projectile is provided that includes a body having a front tip portion and a rear end portion. A combustion chamber base plate is operatively arranged with the rear end portion of the body and defines a combustion chamber. At least one radial discharge aperture is partially defined by the combustion chamber base plate and is arranged in fluid communication with the combustion chamber. A gas generated by igniting a combustible material is discharged through the at least one radial discharge aperture. The discharged gas impinges against a wall of a cavity formed by the moving projectile to form a reactive force that stabilizes the projectile thereby reducing the occurrence of tail-slap.
