The dual-sliding vane rotary compressor comprises a sealed shell of which the internal pressure is the pressure at the high-pressure side, wherein a compressing mechanism part and an electric motor part are arranged in the shell, the compressing mechanism part comprises a cylinder, a suction hole communicated with a cylinder compressing cavity and a piston eccentrically rotating in the cylinder compressing cavity, the cylinder is respectively provided with two sliding vanes and two discharge holes, the compressor is also provided with a pressure switching mechanism which can switch the pressure of a second sliding vane cavity between the pressure at the high-pressure side and the pressure at the low-pressure side, and the pressure switching mechanism can be used for realizing a one-sliding vane operating mode and a first sliding vane and second sliding vane simultaneous operating mode so as to change the displacement of the cylinder, thus finishing the capability control on the displacement of the cylinder by means of one cylinder.
