toughness flame-retardant mineral
powder filling PC (
polycarbonate) material and a preparation method thereof. The ultrahigh-
toughness flame-retardant mineral
powder filling PC material is prepared from the following components in pars by weight: 20 to 30 parts of PC resin, 40 to 50 parts of PC
flame-retardant master batch, 4 to 10 parts of
toughening agent, 1 to 2 parts of compatilizer, 15 to 25 parts of mineral
powder, 0.2 to 0.3 part of
antioxidant, 0.1 to 0.4 part of anti-dripping agent, and 0.2 to 0.3 part of
lubricant. The preparation method comprises the following steps of firstly, weighing the components according to a proportional ratio; uniformly mixing by steps; finally, melting and extruding on a double-screw
extrusion machine, cooling,
cutting grains, and
drying, so as to obtain the ultrahigh-
toughness flame-retardant mineral powder filling PC material. The ultrahigh-toughness flame-retardant mineral powder filling PC material has the advantages that the flame-retardant PC material is reinforced by the mineral powder; compared with the mineral powder and
glass fiber, the particle size is smaller, the softer effect is realized, the
friction force with a die is smaller, and the maintenance time of the die is greatly shortened; the influence to the
impact strength of PC resin by the mineral powder is less, the toughness is very high, the warp is low, and the modulus is high; compared with the convention PC+GF material, the damage to the die is greatly reduced in the use process, and the high light effect is realized.
