Triple slide assembly for sliding doors

A triple slide assembly for a three panel door system that mounts on a two track header and allows the panels to slide easily and sequentially with an interlocking function that provides a means to align the panels. The outer rails or panels each have an inward facing track to support rollers mounted to the middle rail or panel in an alternating configuration. The track and roller assembly interlocks the three panels and has stops, positioned in the ends of the inward facing tracks, keep the panels interlocked. The inward facing tracks and middle rail or panel remain aligned with the header when the outer panels are adjusted to align with adjacent door jambs to provide a smooth sliding operation. The triple slide assembly can be used for a six-door, center opening enclosure and for a five panel sliding assembly mounted on a three track header.

Modular assembly

A modular assembly structured to assume either a shipping container configuration or a building unit configuration including a frame comprising a plurality of support members and defining both a part of the building unit configuration and shipping unit configuration. A plurality of frame panels are movably connected to the frame and disposable in either a closed position or an opened position so as to respectively and at least partially define either the shipping unit configuration or the building unit configuration. The plurality of unit panels are movably connected to the frame and disposable outwardly therefrom to collectively define end wall portions and ceiling portions of the building unit configuration wherein the unit panels may be stored within the interior of the frame. An erection assembly is selectively disposable in an assembled position exteriorly of the frame and supported thereon so as to facilitate the assembly of at least some of the frame panels and / or unit panels.

Door hold open and controlled release mechanism

A door hold open and controlled release mechanism is designed for usage in a doorway system having an inner door, an outer door and a door closer. It includes a catch mechanism and a catch release mechanism. The catch mechanism holds the outer door, typically a screen door or storm door, in an open position against the closing tendency of the door closer. Movement of the inner door to an open position then toward a closed position triggers the catch release mechanism which allows the outer door to close under the urging of the door closer.

Multiple door joining assembly

A joining assembly for “ganging” respective doors together such that by movement of one door causes the other doors to follow. A connecting plate and a spacer plate is screwed to the bottom of a primary door while the connecting plate includes a cam follower to ride in a groove in the bottom of a first secondary door. In this manner, both doors are “ganged” together. If other secondary doors are required to be joined with the previous two doors, a connecting angle plate is employed for securing to the secondary door so as to guide the third, fourth, etc. doors. A guide stop, hinge floor guide, and cam follower assembly is mounted to the last door in the multi-door series and the cam follower “tracks” in a floor guide hidden in a “pocket” when a storage pocket is employed in the installation. By ganging these doors, stability is imparted by the weight and mass of the doors.

A flexible door panel cold storage door system incorporates a flexible movable door panel having an internal support frame assembly and the door panel has a plurality of gasket sections removably attached to a cold space surface of a door panel jacket with each gasket section having at least one ferrous gasket target and the gasket sections are aligned and cooperate with a plurality of electromagnets that are mounted in a doorframe assembly when the door panel is in a closed position. The electromagnets are mounted in wells in the doorframe assembly and are powered on when the door panel is in the closed position and the wells are interconnected by a ventilation channel that conducts air heated by operation of the electromagnets through the ventilation channel and into and through a bottom sweep assembly of the door panel in a closed loop. The heated air reduces or eliminates problems of icing in the immediate vicinity of the periphery of the door panel and reduces or eliminates problems of freezing of the door panel in a closed position. The gasket sections are easily replaced if worn or damaged during use.

Frameless window module

A frameless window module allows operable windows to be placed in any location of a wood stud frame wall without compromising the load bearing capability of the studs thereof. By using lift-off pivot hinges, two (2) panes of glass are respectively pivotally mounted to the exterior and interior surfaces of the wood stud frame wall. Pneumatic gaskets enable to controllably regulate the air interspace captured thereby to provide a variable-insulation aperture. Interconnection hinges cause the two (2) glass panes of a module to move in concert and / or serve to securely lock them in their closed position.

Inflatable door seal

A door for a cold storage locker or other applications includes an inflatable or fluid-filled seal system. The seal system comprises a network of pliable tubular seals that expand as air or another fluid is forced air through the seals. Expansion of the seals provides a more positive seal. To inhibit frost from accumulating near the seals, the seals are kept relatively warm by continuously circulating fluid through the seals regardless of whether the door is open or closed. In some cases, the fluid within the seals is heated.

Air heated, flexible door panel

A door system for a cold storage locker has increased resistance to damage by including resilient door panels that flex when hit by a forklift. A high degree of insulation is achieved by the choice and thickness of the resilient foams therein. Also, the resilient door panels are magnetically attracted to a gasket seal on a doorframe to provide an affirmative seal. Active magnetic control may enhance the attraction or repulsion of the door panel. Frost control is realized by warming air from the cold storage locker and passing it through air channels in the door panel proximate to the gasket seal and down an astragal interface between door panels.
