In the method provided herein, sorghum seedlings can provide sufficient moisture and nutrition for sorghum aphids in the experiment, and conditions are provided for accurately simulating the free living state of sorghum aphids on field sorghum plants; the skin molted by the aphids falls onto the white paper for the purpose of accurate observation and recording; the vessel can ensure that the molted skin of the sorghum aphids never drifts away; observation is facilitated and visualized through a window.
